I scream and pound on the door
Wanting to be let free
This cage of mine is dark and bruised
My heart is torn
My soul abused
"Let me out!"
I cry suddenly
The last bit of light is dying
This cage that has me imprisoned
A box made from glass
I can see those around me
They walk by, unaware
Why can't they see me?
Why won't they help?
"Help..."
I say one final time
Sinking to the floor
"Please,"
