It Echoes Through My Head
Your Sweet Lullaby
Whispering Through My Heart
I Close My Eyes
And Breathe It In
Enjoying It While It Lasts
Because Even When I'm Happy
I Know That Everything Fades To The Past

Fear Coursed Through Her
As She Closed Her Eyes
People Were Everywhere
All Around
On Every Side
Pushing Through And By
She Couldn't Handle It
All The Noise
All The Bodies
All The Space
She Was Trapped
Closed In
Nowhere To Go
She Falls
Tears Streaming Freely
No Control Anymore
Its Too Much
Her Body Shakes
Unable To Stop
Everyone Backs Away
Not Helping
Watching
They Don't Understand
What's Happening
They Stare As She Trembles
Sobs Wracking Her Body
Sadness Fills Them
Because The Young Girl
Can Never Be Helped
Because
No One Is Willing To Help

I Watch As You Hug Her
Hold Her Gently
And Wonder
If That Could Have Been Me
I Think Of Our Friendship
That Use To Grow Strong
But Now It Seems You Say
'So Long'
Was The Times I Held You Up
The Times I Stood For you
Were They Simple Nothing?
When They All Left You
I Came
I Stayed
I Was By Your Side Always
But You Seemed To Have Found Your Way
You Said 'Goodbye' To Those Days
You Made More Friends
You Were Wanted
And I'm Glad
But You Left Me
With Nothing
In The Dust
That's What I Got For Trusting
