Honesty
I hate to lie and deceiveif you truly know me
You'd know it's true
You'd know I try to say what i think
You'd know I show it all
But even if you know me
You wouldn't know
How far down the pain and scars go
I only show so much
Honesty
Something my morals try to reach
Something everyone blocks from me
I've heard a friend say
They hate the other
And I have to keep that to myself
Ive heard them say
That I'm annoying
I have to hold that close
I heard someone say it's all for attention
I have to hide my flaws
I hear murmurs in my mind
Things I cannot show
Honesty
Only goes so far

Yet tired
My mind is clear
Yet fogged
My heart is full
Yet dull
My life feels
Like a game
And I'm tired
If being played
Like it's all okay
Like I'm a person
Like they'll win
When I end
