I can see you
Looking at me through your camera lens
I wonder
What exactly do I look like
In your eyes
I feel my smile waver
Even if I try to force it
My eyes are growing hot and I know
I might just cryI'm looking at you
Through the lens of my
Own beloved camera
The one that I have dedicated
Only and purely
To you
I see your smile tilt
And crack
Your cheeks flushing red
Bright red
As the late afternoon sun
Shines in my eyes
I don't think I've ever loved you more
Than I do the You
Who's standing in front of me
Hands over your eyes
Trying desperately not to be seen by me
Accidentally (I swear)
I press the button
Your embarrassed outrage
Is entirely worth
Having just that little
Imperfect
Beautiful
Piece of you
