White sheets can't hide your face,
We know who's under there.
Pain isn't what you remember
Heart beats, death-notes, bone breaks
Blue faces drip their sorrows
Sidewalks don't need chalk
Red, red, blue, yellow
Songs that hurt my ears
Tune out those arduous notes
Hopscotch with friends
1, 2, 2, 3
Bright red smiles
Don't look down
Don't look down
Don't look down
Laughter is an unfamiliar presence
Children just can't be helped
Anymore
Black, black, blue
Look down
Black gums, rotted teeth
Where's your smile now?
