A booming thud followed by Armin screaming "Erwin, not now!" sounded from upstairs, causing me and Levi to sigh loudly. Sharing a knowing glance, we took off upstairs before they could break anything of mine with value. We walked in on a flustered Armin being hungrily attacked by Erwin. A dark hickey was placed on his revealing right shoulder boldly.

With a hard shove, Armin threw Erwin off of him and denied, "Eren, it's not what it looks like!"

"Really?" I asked sarcastically. "Cause it looks like Erwin is marking his territory."

Erwin straightened his jacket pridefully as Armin struggled to find words. I raised my hand and calmed, "Armin, it's okay. It's not a big deal."

"It's not a big deal I'm dating your bully's brother?"

"Well..." I chuckled, dragging a high tone with my word. Armin looked between Levi and me before gasping. I quickly studdered out, "Nothing official! But working on it."

It came out more of a question than a statement, so Levi backed me up--as well as he could--by monotoning, "We're into each other, but not together or fuckbuddies."

I squeaked Levi's name in total embarrassment, but it seemed that Armin was more worried about hiding his marks. The room felt awkward between the four of us until Levi tried to ease the tension by changing the subject.

"You said you had an Xbox, right?"

"O-Oh, yeah," I nodded, "Mortal Kombat. I'll set it up! It's only eight, so I'm sure my mom won't mind if you stayed a little longer."

I crouched in front of my TV and started my game console. Armin ran a hand through his hair before announcing, "Eren, I better head home. I'll text you in a bit."

"O-Oh, okay. Cya, Armin," I acknowledged. "Stay safe."

Erwin stopped him from leaving and asked, "Need me to drive you?"

"No, no, no," he demurred, "I think I'm gonna walk. I need to clear my head. Besides, Eren is undefeatable in Mortal Kombat, so you've got some competition."

He slipped passed Erwin and disappeared down the stairs. I didn't blame Armin for getting annoyed at the brute. I, personally, wanted to slap him for my best friend's honor, but I didn't think Armin or Levi would've appreciated that. Levi noticed my irritation and sat next to me. He rubbed my arm gently, but I kept my eyes on the Xbox.

"Oi, brat," Levi grumbled, "what's wrong?"

I whispered angrily, "Your brother."

Erwin sat at my desk and pulled out his phone. He silently scoffed, "What's up with blondie?"

I glanced at Levi, giving him a loathing look. He knew I was at my wit's end with his brother. I saw him chuckle softly before standing up and badgered, "Erwin, quit being an ass. I mean it."

"What the hell am I doing?" He piped, throwing his hands up in frustration.

I stood up abruptly and kindly inquired, "Levi, may I?"

He nodded and gestured for me to go crazy. I took one long deep breath before I scolded, "You wouldn't get the hell off my best friend when he told you! He has every right to be angry at you, you damn brute! My best friend better be treated like a god, or, I swear, I will reach down your throat and pull your anus out through your teeth. So, now you can either shut up and keep it in your pants or continue being a dick and get the hell out of my house! I've had enough of you and your testosterone, blondie."

Both Erwin and Levi gaped at me, finally understanding I can be aggressive when I've had enough. Erwin turned his phone off and faced me, speechless from my outburst. Levi had defensively took a few cautious steps towards him, which caused me to somewhat blush. My heart thudded loudly as I felt his protective hand against my back.

"Well, I think I'll just take me and my testosterone home. It's clear you want me gone. Levi, wanna ride with me?" He said, placing his phone in his pocket.

"No," he scowled, "I'm going to stay here with Eren. I'll walk home."

With that, Erwin left down the stairs, nearly slamming the front door off its hinges. Luckily, my mother paid no mind to all the noise. The house became silent with the drama queen gone, leaving Levi and I to ourselves.

"Damn," Levi grinned, "that was pretty badass. No one usually stands up him like that."

"Well, it's Armin," I stressed. "He and I have been best buddies for years. He's a kind and intelligent person, so he deserves the best. Plus, I've got his back like he has mine."

Levi chuckled lightly and moved to sit on my bed. I still felt tense with the whole scenario and I worried about Armin. From what I've seen today, Erwin is toxic to my friend. That didn't settle with me too well at all. Levi patted the space next to him, which only made me smile and shuffle over to him. As I sat down he wrapped his arms around me needily.

I chortled, "I'm telling you, one day you're gonna just walk up and sit in my lap for a hug."

"Challenging me?" Levi playfully sassed.

I giggled at him before thinking out loud, "Jesus, what will Mikasa think?"

"Tch, she'll probably be jealous as hell. I don't care anyway; I just want you."

My cheeks flushed at those words, filling the raven with a sort of pride knowing he was able to fluster me. I felt weak, acting so submissive to someone that was insanely shorter than me. However, staring at his eyes that I was able to read so easily made me ignore the fact and embrace it.

"Do you hide the fact that you're soft by acting like a punk?" I wondered. Levi scoffed, "I'm not soft! I'm just needy and jealous. Don't tell anyone I said that."

I laughed at his surprising adorableness and pulled him closer. As our eyes met, we leaned in closer for another gentle kiss--one I hoped ended all the violence between us.
