Layla's POV*
I rolled over because the sun was shinning in my face......the sun never shines in my room in the mornings!
I opened my eyes and examined the room I was in.
"Where am I?"
I lifted the cover to see that I wasn't wearing pants or even my own shirt. Thought it smelt familiar.
I was still looking around the room when I heard someone coming down the stairs.
I flipped over and pretended to sleep.
"Layla?" I heard someone call. Now his voice sounded familiar.
"Mattia?" I said and flipped over.
"Yeah, you're finally up. I thought you were going to sleep forever." He said walking over to the bed. He sat and the end and I sat up on the head board.
"Last night?" I said and looked at him, he was trying his hardest not to look at me.
"What about it?" He asked still looking at the ground.
"Did we?" I said and pointed between me and him.
"No...you were kinda out of him but you took your clothes off." He said and finally looked at me.
"Oh god...I'm sorry." I said and put my head in my hands.
"No no it's ok. You don't have to be embarrassed." He said and got close to me.
He pulled my hands from my face and looked me in my eyes.
"But..." He said and looked at my hands in his.
"I didn't strip on a table did I?" I joked but he didn't laugh.
"No." He gave me a weak smile.
"You're scaring me." I said starting to panic.
"Uhm, Hector drugged you last night and took you to the bathroom." He said and looked at the ground again.
My whole world stopped, I felt like I was numb.
"D-did he?" I asked with tears filling my eyes.
"No I got there before he could do anything." He said still not looking at me.
I pulled him into a hug, he hugged me back tight.
"I'm sorry this happened to you Layla." He said while still hugging me.
I sniffled "It's ok, you did save me though." I said a pulled away from our hug.
"At least nothing happened." I said now giving him a weak smile.
He stood up and put his hand out in-front of me.
"Come on." He said.
I took his hand, and he pulled me out of the bed.
"Wait!" I said and sat back down pulling the covers over me.
"I don't have pants on." I said embarrassed.
He laughed.
"No ones home and I've already seen everything." He said walking back towards me.
"Just get me some shorts." I said.
We both walked upstairs, I HAD shorts this time though.
"What do you want to eat?" He asked walking into the kitchen.
"Uhm....how about eggs?" I said following him.
He had a nice house to be honest.
"That's it?" He questioned.
"I'll come help you." I said and leaning against the counter
"Yes ma'am." He said pulling out things at random from cabinets and the fridge.
Couple minutes later*
We were both laughing at a story Mattia had told.
"So your saying the freshmen just jumped into the puddle?" I asked biting into a piece of toast we made.
"He didn't just jump, he belly flopped into it."
We both started laughing again.
"Ok let's clean this up." I said standing up and grabbing my plate.
"I'll sweep and you can do the dishes." He said.
"You just don't wanna do the dishes." I said turning around.
"You are right about that." He said giving me his plate.
"You're an ass." I said grabbing the sponge and soap.
We had finally gotten done cleaning and I went to go check my phone.
I had 9 missing calls from Ari and a text from my mom......from my mom? SHIT I DIDNT TELL HER WHERE I WAS!
I started to panic and I opened the message, but I didn't get in-trouble. Instead I seen a message from me that I don't remember sending, the message said.
"Hey mom I'm staying over at Ari's house tonight." I was confused for a second, then Mattia came in.
"Are you ok?" He asked a little concerned.
"Yeah, did you text my mom?" I asked.
He scratched the back of his neck.
"Yeah, sorr-" I cut him off, by hugging him.
"Thank you so much, I would have been in so much trouble." I said pulling away from the hug.
"No problem." He said.
We sat there in a awkward silence.
"So what do you wanna do today?" I asked.
"I don't know." He said, bringing back the silence.
"You wanna hang with the boys today?" I asked trying to make a situation that were both comfortable in.
"Yeah, I'll call them." He said, his eyes lit up when I said that.
And now we're "hanging with the boys"
