"Get up you're already late!" My mom said pulling the covers from me.
"Whyyy?" I said with my eyes still closed.
"Because you need an education." She screamed before walking downstairs
I got up and changed

I called Ari because I really didn't want to go to school by myself.
"Hello?" She said through the phone.
"Ari?" I said
"Yeah, what's up?" She said. I could tell she was still getting ready.
"Can you give me a ride to school?" I asked.
"What happened to Mattia?" She asked.
"Let's not talk about him.." I said in a shy tone.
"Ok I'll be over in a bit." She said and hung up.
A couple minutes later I heard a car horn, I looked out the window and seen Ari's car and I ran downstairs.
"Bye mom." I said and waved at her.
"Byeee" She said waving back.
At school*
We were both late but we didn't really care, we pushed through the doors as the bell rang.
"I'm not leaving you alone today." Ari said as we walked to my locker.
"Ari I'm fine, I promise." I said.
"Well are you going to tryouts?" Ari asked.
"Fuck. I missed the first two days I have to go." I said and rubbed the back of my neck.
"Well you left your bag in my car so you don't have to go back home." She said.
I sighed of relief because I wanted to try out I really did but....Mattia is also trying out...
"There he is." She said and looked behind me.
He holding Jena's hand of course, but he didn't look the same. He looked mad like he didn't want to be there, he never looked that way while we were together.
We both made eye contact but I turned back.
"Hey Layla." Jena said before she started walking our way pulling Mattia behind her.
I didn't turn around, I just looked at Ari with a face full of fear.
"Laylaaaa?" She said behind me, I could feel Mattia and her both starring at me.
"Jena lets just-" Mattia started to say before I grabbed Ari's hand and started running.
"Slow downnn!" Ari screamed behind me.
I pull her into an empty hallway, we were both out of breathe.
I could feel the tears running down my face, I tried to wipe them before Ari noticed but it was not help.
"Hey, come here don't cry." She said and hugged me.
"What happened to all that time we had? He just threw it away for her." I said still crying.
"I know, just give him a little time. He'll know what he's missing." She said.
"Come on we have to go to class." She said and pulled my arm.
After school*
I ran to the field we're they were having soccer tryouts.
"Hey Miss. Lynn where were you the last two days?" The coach asked me, I seen Mattia look at me.
"I was not feeling well." I started pointing to my stomach.
"Oh...uhm today we gave scrimmages so get in a team." He said.
I seen Mattia on one team and Kairi on the other, Mattia smiled at me but I walked over to Kairis side.
"Hey Layla." Kairi said and put his arm over my shoulder.
"Hey Olaf." I said and smiled.
"I'm taller than you anyway." He said and nudged me.
"Maybe by an inch or two. But don't get your hopes up." I said and giggled.
"HEY! Can we just get this started already?" Mattia screamed from across the field, he looked kind of jealous.
We had started the scrimmage and we were both tied.
"COME ON BABY YOU GOT THIS!" Someone screamed from the bleachers, I turned and seen Jena. I rolled my eyes and focused on the scrimmage.
Me and Mattia were both on the same position.
The ball was coming for Kairi so he kicked it towards me.
"GO LAYLA!" He screamed.
I started dribbling it to the other side of the field and of course Mattia got in the way.
"Get the fuck out of my way." I said and kicked the ball between his legs, I kicked the ball again and made it into the goal.
"Lay-" Mattia started to say before Kairi came and picked me up.
"YESSUHH!" He screamed as my team came running towards me.
They pulled me back to our side of the field still cheering me on.
I turned and seen Mattia still looking at me.
"Kairis team wins. That's it for today kids you can go home." The coach said.
We all started grabbing our stuff.
"Layla!" Mattia said while running towards me.
"What?" I said still grabbing my things.
" Can we talk?" He asked.
"About what Mattia? You did what you did and that's the end of it." I said.
"But-" he was cut off by Jena.
"Mattia!" She screamed walking towards us.
"Look we're not together so get back to your little girlfriend." I said and walked away.
"Layla!" Kairi said and walked towards me.
"What's up?" I said.
"You're really good." He said.
"Thanks." I giggled.
"What are you doing after?" He asked.
"I'm just gonna walk home." I said.
"Do you want a ride?" He asked a big excited.
"Sure." I smiled.
