It has been a week since my friends came, and today is their second last day here. I have had the time of my life with my friends from back home, fitting perfectly into my friends over here. The only problem was Ryder, he has been avoiding me the entire time, and when he did hang out with us, he was always in a horrible mood, treating Aryan and Rahul like crap.

Aryan, Rahul, Jake, Jason, Alison and I were right now in a famous karaoke bar right off campus. We were joking around when suddenly a Bryan Adams song came on as someone got up on stage to begin singing. The minute I heard that tune, I remembered the last time I heard that song coming from that stage.

*Flashback*

I had just come back from dropping my parents off at the airport as they went back to Singapore. I was planning on going back to my dorm when I walked past the karaoke bar and decided to go in. The place was quite crowded as college students had their fun before classes started in a few days. I found a stool to sit on at the bar as someone began singing a Bryan Adams song, badly might I add, on stage.

As a reflex, I winced as her high-pitched singing ruined the amazing song that was sung by an absolute legend. I must not have been as subtle as I liked, because the guy next to me laughed as he saw my face. Three hours later, we were still sitting on the same stools, laughing and talking about the most random conversations. He ended up being my best friend till this day, even if he is ignoring me right now.

*end*

As the song finished, I quickly got up to get myself a drink, ignoring the looks that I was getting from my friends. As I reached the bar, and ordered my drink, I turned around, only to bang into my two military best friends.

"Okay listen up you duffer. You are going to leave this bar and go to that boy and fix this shit. I don't care what you have to say, I am not the person that you need to talk to. That boy is in love with you, and I know that you are in love with him as well, so you better go and confess right now because both of you are cowards and if I don't force you, I know that you wont do anything. And don't even deny that the two of you love each other. We can read you like an open book. And that boy isn't exactly subtle. We have been with you since your very first boyfriend, and I hate to admit it but Ryder loves you the most, even more than that weird one from 6th grade who was obsessed with you. Only this time it isn't weird as hell." Rahul glared at me as Aryan finished off his rant. Honestly to anyone else they would have looked terrifying, but after growing up with them, and at one point being taller than their 6'3 selves, I knew that they were both absolute teddy bears.

Realising that they were right, I hugged the two of them, kissed them on their cheeks and ran the hell out of the bar, and into Ryder's dormitory. I didn't know if he was in, or what I was going to say. But the boys had hyped me up so much, I couldn't even care anymore. I walked up to his door and began knocking like a madwoman. The second he opened the door I walked in, completely ignoring him as I began talking, "Okay listen up you ass. You have been giving me mixed signals since the start of the trip, the way you look at me, almost kiss me, kiss me, and then act like it meant nothing. And then on top of all that you had to be a complete douchebag to two of my best friends, making it difficult for me to enjoy the one week that I have with them because I can't stop thinking about your ass. And I tried really hard to stop loving you but I can't, even right now when I want to punch you so badly, the urge to kiss you is even stronger." By the time I was done, I was panting as I paced across his floor. I had avoided looking at him, but after a minute of silence, I gave up and turned to look at him.

As he just stared at me with his mouth and eyes wide open, I was no longer hyped up, and now embarrassed and nervous as I realise my mistake and quickly try to get out of the room. Emphasis on try, because before I could get out, Ryder pulled me close to him, and the only thing I heard before he crashed his lips onto mine were, "Oh god I love you so much."
