Chapter 18

Past 05 :

Ana's Pov:-

"You sure you don't want to come?" Noah's eyes mischievously looked my way as he put his bag inside the car.

I nodded, smiling at him.

He sighed and looked at me from the distance again, "Ana, I can't do this alone.. I need you to be there with me"

"Hey" I corrected him, "It was you who spoke to your parents once again. You asked for their forgiveness on your own. You were the one who wanted to fix everything and make everything right again. If you could do all that, then you can do this too. It's time.."
I smiled as his lips curved into a equally beautiful one.

"You made everything possible, Angel" He mouthed and I rolled my eyes at him. Then changing the topic, he added, "I will be gone for the whole weekend. Will be back probably by Monday morning again, will you be okay?"

"Noah, I am not a kid" I rolled my eyes again, "I know that you will be going to your parents house first and then from there to see your sister. And it's just for two days. I won't even know you are gone" I stuck out my tounge at him after finishing the last sentence.
He seemed a bit hurt. But smiling he nodded goodbye and got inside his car.

"Bye Noah" I tried to cheer him up.

He started the engine but the car didn't move.

I waited when I realised he had stopped the engine again, got down and marched towards me. His expression dark with desire as he grabbed my hips and pulled me to him.

I bumped into him as he kissed me with so much desire that my knees went weak and I held on to him for support.
When he finally let go, his gray eyes glistened as he spoke up,
"I know that you will never say it out loud or feel the way I do, but Angel, I'll miss you terribly for the next two days. Keep thinking of me, love"

He walked away with that. I was unaware for how long I had been standing there thinking of him, but strangely I felt empty inside.
This was new!

Later that day I was at Megan's place doing a study group with a bunch of other students when I had finally received a text from Noah that he had reached home safely.
He sent a picture with his great grandmother and texted:
Reached heaven, just missing my Angel here.. :*

"Need to speak with you"

"Huh? What?" The small smile that had curved up my face vanished quickly as I confusedly looked up to find Megan stare back at me with seriousness.

"I need to speak with you, got a minute?" She asked again when she realised I hadn't heard correctly the first time.

"Yeah sure" I nodded and looked around.

"Not here, let's go to my room"
Rick wasn't in today, so it was just Megan, me and 4 other guys around.

Megan and Rick had moved in to a new apartment together almost six months ago just a month and a half after starting their relationship.

Once we were inside her room, I went and sat on her bed scrolling through the pictures Noah was sending in my phone.

"I think Rick is having an affair" Megan blurted out as I stopped and stared back at her.

"What?"

"I'm sure he is.. I mean it feels like that.. " Megan hesitated.

"Do you know.. with whom?" I asked in alarm.
