Chapter 22

The game between (team's name) and Nekoma was intense. It was a match about being coalesced. You were already at the score of 16-20 meaning your team is 4 points ahead. You decided to play only one match per team since it's kinda tiring to play 5 matches consecutively.

You were serving this time, you bounced the ball a few times and took a deep breath. You held the ball close to your face and looked straight to the opponents' side. Your face was serious, your eyes were screaming for fun and determination.

You tossed the ball high and hit it with your dominant hand while exerting full force on hitting it. The ball went to the other side of the court with full force making it look like it's going to be out.

"Out!" Yaku exclaimed making you smirk

The ball landed on the line indicating that it was in. A line ball. Though they already know that you're a formidable opponent, it still doesn't change the fact that they'll still be dumbfounded by your skills.

"Nice serve, (f/n)-chan" Izumi shouted which you just smiled

"Sorry! My bad!" Yaku apologized to his team

"Don't mind!" Kuroo replied

You bounced the ball again before hitting it but this time you lessened the strength of your serve. Yaku still barely received it because of the impact even though you already lessened your power. You ran back to your place and paid attention to your opponents' movement.

Yaku passed it to Kenma who easily tossed the ball to Kuroo. Kuroo jumped and at the same time Rizumu jumped with arms stretched out. Kuroo didn't see it coming causing him to directly hit the ball on Rizumu's hand. The ball's momentum was slowed down, thanks to Rizumu's cover.

"One touch!" Rizumu shouted and went back to position

Izumi moved her hands and gave you guys a hand signal, not letting the opposing team see it.

Pinky finger pointed down

That was the signal meaning it's a Back A.

Juvia received the ball and passed it to Izumi. When Izumi tossed the ball, Iris was already in the air. Iris spiked the ball not letting Nekoma make a move. They didn't see it coming, it was too fast for them to catch up. The duo from Karasuno flinched when they saw your team's offense just now, it was a bit similar to theirs.

"Nee, nee Kageyama, was that our quick?" Hinata asked

"N-no but it was really similar," Kageyama exclaimed while still dumbfounded

Iris landed on the ground and gave Izumi an 'ok' sign which Izumi just gave her a nod.

"Nice kill, Iris! Nice toss, Izumi!" you exclaimed making them nod at you

Once again, it was your turn to serve. 16-22. 3 more points. You took a deep breath and tossed the ball and hit with your dominant hand. Yamamoto received the ball but it was short. But this wasn't good enough to stop Kenma from setting the ball to Kuroo, the ball went up in the air and so did Kuroo, Rizumu was there to block but Kuroo was a being sneaky cat. He aimed the ball on Rizumu's fingertips making the ball fly off. You clicked your tongue and went after the ball. You ran and plunged your way to return the ball. And when it did you quickly ran back to the court and prepared yourself.
