Chapter 41

You sighed softly while waiting for Izumi and Rizumu at the bleachers in the school ground, your last class was cancelled due to your professor's sudden absence. You checked your phone to see if there were any messages or something but nothing was shown, only the reminder of your departure tomorrow. You turned your phone off and looked at the paper bag beside you, the album and the letter was inside it.

' What if he really disagrees? ' you thought

"I'm sure he won't, right? Like this is my dream, I'm sure he'll understand" you mumbled to yourself

"Oi (l/n), you alright? What's with the mumbling?"

You raised your head and saw Akaashi staring at you with a confused look. Akaashi coincidentally went to the same university with you so seeing him wouldn't be a surprise.

"Oh hey Akaashi, what brings you here?" You smiled

Akaashi settled his bag down and sat beside you before leaning back.

"I was just walking around until I saw you all alone. Waiting for someone?" He asked

"Yeah, I'm waiting for Rizumu and Izumi" you answered

"Oh I see.... So why were you mumbling earlier?" He asked

"Well...hehehe it's nothing serious" you said as you scratched the back of your head

"If you say so....I heard that you're leaving tomorrow" he said

"Yeah....I won't be back for a while" you said with a rather sad tone

"Have a safe trip and enjoy your stay there. Follow your heart and let your passion stay ablaze" he smiled making you smile back

"Thanks, Akaashi" you said

"No probs, I should get going now and also I can see Rizumu coming. See ya soon?" He exclaimed

"See you soon," you smiled

Akaashi got his bag before leaving you alone then a few seconds later, Rizumu came and sat beside you.

"Izumi's still not here?" Rizumu asked

"Nope. Hey Rizumu, do you think Kageyama will let me leave?" You answered

"I don't know....but if he's gonna stop you from leaving then I'll knock his lights out!" She exclaimed making you chuckle

"Well, aren't ya dependable these days?" You chuckled

"But seriously, he should understand your point right now since it's for yourself and for your future. Besides, even us, your best friends can't stop you from that instead of stopping you, we decided to support you because that's what you want to do and that's also for the best for you and for your future" Rizumu smiled making you feel a bit emotional

"I-uhmm t-thank you.....I-I'm not ready to l-leave you guys yet" you sobbed lightly making her pull you into a hug

"Shh...you need to be strong and don't worry we'll keep in touch. Long distance or not, we're still your bestfriends and we will always support you from a far" Rizumu exclaimed

"I'm gonna miss you guys.....so much..."

When the three of you were all gathered up, you immediately took off and went to Karasuno to give Kageyama the album and to also tell him about your departure. While walking through the hallway, you could feel eyes staring all over you since you guys were wearing college students' uniform but decided to just shrugged it off. The number of students were less since it was already 5 in the afternoon, Rizumu wasn't with you at the moment since she went to the comfort room for a sec.
