I pulled away from the hug, tears glistening in both of our eyes.
"I'll miss you more thank I could ever say. I hope America treats you well, you're going to be awesome." A small, sad smile tugged at my lips as I reached my hand up to cup his cheek. Tears fell from both of our eyes as we just enjoyed the moment, cherishing each others presence for the last time.
He smiled softly, sniffing quietly. "I'll always love you, please don't forget me." His eyes filled with tears again.
I chuckled softly, taking his hands. "I could never forget you. You'll always be my soulmate."
His mom honked the car horn impatiently, startling us from our trance. He looked at me one last time, pain and hurt clouding his face. "I gotta go, I'm so sorry. I'll see you again someday. Goodbye, my angel." He kissed my forehead softly before running to the car, getting in and then speeding off into the distance without a backward glance.
