Charlie woke up from his third nap of the day, checking the time. It was 5pm and a week had passed since he'd seen anyone, and he was officially coming out of his depressive slump. He felt ready to go and see Carson, but only him alone. The others had no idea about Daisy, but knew he was prone to depressive episodes and had sympathy for the man, so talking to Carson was his safest bet. He trusted Carson with his life, which was why they were so close, and only seemed to get closer.

Charlie got out of bed, getting into the shower to get ready for the day. He got dressed, grabbed a banana for breakfast and got into the car with the intention of meeting Carson to chat. As soon as he got in, he played his normal playlist instead, as he was trying to take small steps to forgetting about her again. He drove to the local McDonald's, parking up and heading in to place his order and find a seat. The wait for Carson was nerve-wracking, Charlie's head always went into overdrive over the smallest things.

"Hey, Charlie."

Charlie looked up suddenly and smiled, gesturing for Carson to sit down. "How's it going dude?"

Carson sat down and smiled back. "It's going good, the video we filmed is going up today, so I'm pretty excited"

"That's great! I'm looking forward to watching it, I bet it's amazing." Charlie took a sip of his drink.

"So... how are you doing?" Carson asked hesitantly, slightly nervous to hear the answer to the question.

"I'm doing better. Not perfect, but definitely better. Do you think I could come over and hang out with you guys today?"

A grin spread across Carson's face. "You know you're welcome any time dude. The others will be looking forward to seeing you again."

Charlie smiled, happiness finding its place in his heart for the first time in a week. "Thanks Carson. I can't tell you how much this means to me. You're an incredible friend."

"Dude, I didn't know it was simping hour? That's a little gay, you gotta say no homo... unless you mean it?" Carson wiggled his eyebrows, smirking at Charlie before laughing. Charlie started laughing too, loving his friend more and more as the time went on. He was so lucky to have him.

Schlatt walked into the Lunch Club house, being greeted by cheers and hugs from the guys. He grabbed a drink from the fridge, sitting on the sofa, and listening.

Charlie was more of a listener than a talker. He never talked that much, but when he did it was always a witty joke or a smart comment on the topic that was being discussed. He liked listening, it gave him the upper hand as he always knew what was being talked about, and he was able to think before he spoke. He had his secrets, so he never put himself in the position to tell them under the influence, which was the main reason he didn't drink or do drugs. He hated being out of control.

"So Charlie, do you feel like filming with us today?" Travis' voice piped up over the mesh of laughing and shouting, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

Charlie chuckled. "Sure dude, I'll film with you guys. I've missed it like hell." The rest of them started excitedly talking about their next video, Charlie sitting back and taking it all in, prepared to agree to anything.

When the random idea to go to England came up, he was just a bit more hesitant. He hadn't been abroad for a long time and was slightly scared, but the positive arguments outweighed the negative so he couldn't argue against it. He was excited honestly, it would be a nice break from the stress of home and work lately and getting away for a couple of weeks would do him a world of good.

Carson had scheduled and paid for the tickets within the next half an hour, and it was set. Two weeks from now, he'd be in England to visit London and film some videos, including visiting Wilbur and making videos with him too. He didn't forget the fact that he'd be around his childhood home, which was why he was the most excited. It gave him hope that he'd see Daisy again. But even if he didn't, he didn't care. If he didn't see Daisy on this trip, he would forget about her completely. But if he did, then it was fate.

Charlie was offered to stay the night, so obviously a gaming night was in order. The weed and alcohol soon came out, the faint sound of the wii sports resort music playing over the chatter and laughter in the room. He was relaxed even without the weed, cradling a glass of water and cheering as people won the game. Cooper, Travis and Noah were high, talking on the couch, Carson and Schlatt were drunkenly playing against each other on the wii and Ted was outside on the phone with his English "girlfriend". He was hopelessly in love with her and everyone could tell, it was obvious he was telling her about the trip they had planned. Her name was Madi, and from the pictures Charlie had seen, she was beautiful.

Still, not as beautiful as Daisy was when he last saw her.

He stared wistfully outside through the window, gazing at the moon. He wondered if Daisy saw it too. As someone who was nocturnal and had a barely-put-together sleep schedule, he found comfort in the night sky. It made him feel safe, the darkness like a warm blanket around him. He snapped out of his trance suddenly at Carson's loud voice begging him to play, so he took a sip of his drink and pulled up his sleeves.

"They call me Mr. Wii Sports, y'know."

Carson laughed drunkenly. "Bring it on, slime boy."

Surprise surprise, Charlie won.
