Irene yawned as she stretched her arms, she had been sleeping on Ivan's thighs.
"Have you been awake the whole time?" She asked him
"Nah, woke up a while ago. Did you bring your phone?"
"No, it was in my room the whole time"
"I plugged in mine and I don't remember unplugging it. We don't even have a wristwatch, I don't know how long we've been in here"
"Let's go back to the jet, we could find something" she said and they got up.
"What if its been years already, and the world has forgotten us?"
"Shut up Irene, you have such a wild imagination"
"Oh, I just want to know how long we've been in here" she said and at once, a newspaper fell in front of her. They looked around, there was no one.
"Now that was creepy" she said, Ivan picked it up.
"We left home on the 17th of December and here, its the 20th. So we've been in here for three days!"
"Oh my God. Ivan we need to get home, mom and dad must be freaking out already"
"I know. But, how did this newspaper get here?" He asked, Irene shook her head.
A loud piercing laughter echoed in the air. Irene fell in shock.
"What... What the heck was that!" she screamed
The laughter continued for a few more seconds and the shouts of a little girl followed.
Ivan dragged her off the floor. He was about to say something when suddenly a huge creature appeared behind them.
"Run" he screamed. Holding tight Irene's wrist, they bolted off. Being a faster runner, she was soon in front, dragging him along.
"Why is that thing chasing us?" Irene asked him
"I have no idea. From books I've read, that's a dinosaur"
"A what? Isn't that shit extinct?" She screamed as they ran faster
"Well, I guess it is the underworld after all"
After minutes of running around, the dinosaur disappeared.
Irene looked back and fell down.
"What the fuck was that!" She yelled, Ivan laughed.
"You are actually laughing right now. Now who's crazy!"
"Well, we're still alive"
"We could be zombies right now"
"That doesn't bother me, I need to find out who gave us the newspaper"
