"So, what do we do now?" Ivan asked
"Wait until its our turn to die I guess. Damn, I should've slept with Dave when he asked"
"What?"
"What? I'm gonna die a virgin Ivan, you think I'm happy about that?"
"Are you serious right now? That's what's important?"
"Oh Please. You want me to start crying? We can't do anything, I'm trying to not be scared right now"
The piercing laughter came again, it sounded really close. They turned, there was a huge vulture behind them.
"So now its a vulture?"
"Shut up and run Irene" he said and dragged her hand, they ran off.
"Why isn't it disappearing?" Irene yelled after minutes of running.
"Maybe this one is real"
"Don't even think about it".
They saw a sword on the floor and she tried to pick it up.
"Don't, that might be unreal too"
"No harm in trying" she said and grabbed it.
Ivan turned to see how far the creature was and just then, he felt Irene's hand slip out of his. Turning sharply, she was gone.
"Irene!" He yelled and the laughter came again. A big pool appeared in front of him and out came a hand which pulled him in.
"Drizella. Where's my brother?"
"I'm sorry, I could only save you. My mother has him"
"Are you serious right now? You should've left me with him"
"The original plan was to save you two, but Kcarus was close, I couldn't"
"What's Kcarus?"
"She's my mom's friend. Listen, she saw me save you so I'm in as much trouble as you are right now"
"You mean she'll kill you?"
"She can't, no matter how much she wanted to. I need to go, stay here"
"No, take me to your mom"
"Are you crazy?"
"Please, I can't let anything happen to Ivan. And if you hand me over to them, you won't be in anymore trouble"
"You think this is a joke? They will kill you!"
"Just take me"
"Your choice, I tried to save you"
"Wait. Is there really no way to leave this triangle?" she asked.
Drizella frowned,
"Follow me, we need to get out of here before we get Dash in trouble too"
"Please tell me Drizella, is there anyway we could survive this?"
Driz took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, for you to live, one must die. That's how it works"
"What do you mean by that?"
"You wouldn't understand"
"If you mean something like I have to die for Ivan to live, then kill me. I'm the crazy child, my parents surely wouldn't mind. But if we both die, I don't think they can handle it"
"Its not that easy to give up your life"
