"Eve, there's news" max exclaimed
"You found them?!"
"No, not yet but there's a lead. Apparently, some surfers saw a jet fly over the Atlantic ocean some time ago. We checked with them and it appears to be the same day the twins went missing. But the crazy thing is, the jet seems to have disappeared after that. The people believe it was dragged into the water by some force"
"Don't be ridiculous. What do you mean dragged into the water?"
"According to the locals, a lot of airplanes have gone missing while..."
"Enough. What do you plan to do now?"
"Search the waters. We could find something"
"My children are alive Maxwell"
"I pray they are. I'll leave right now with the sheriff and some of his men. I'll call if anything comes up" he said and left.
Evelyn sighed as she wiped the tears that had escaped her eyes.
"So much for being hopeful" she thought
"Irene, they got you too?" Ivan whispered as he gave her a tight hug.
"Not really, Drizella got me in here" she said as she freed herself from his grip
"What? Why would you do that? Is this some sort of joke to you?"
"I couldn't leave you Ivan"
"You just endangered yourself too, those things are gonna eat us"
"Will you shut up dude. I found a way for us to get out of here, alive"
"How?"
"First of all, even if I hadn't found a way, I would've still come to you. I couldn't bear the thought of leaving you behind"
"Thanks but, let's save that for when we are back home, safe and sound. How do we get out?"
"You're no fun. Driz, she's gonna get us out. We need to get to the mermaids"
"Are you insane? They'll kill us. Only reason they haven't is cause they were too busy being mad at Drizella!"
"Well she said we have to be close for her to save us and she's there right now so, lead the way"
"Its just straight ahead, walk a little further and you'll see them. Warning, they're huge, and terrifying"
