Ok, so before we start, thanks for 30K reads. I've had this idea for a while now and under normal circumstances, I'd have to wait till the end of the series for this, but I couldn't. So here it is, a part that will explain Jenn and make all of your hearts warm inside(hopefully)
(Y/N) POV
"I'm home!" I yell as I get home from my work as a software engineer.
"Welcome home, darling," My beautiful wife says
"Welcome home daddy!" My 7-year-old daughter says running to me for a hug
"Jenny, how has your day been," I ask hugging her
"It's been good, mommy and I made you some cookies!" She says excitedly
"Oh have you now? I guess I try them if the Cookie Monster didn't eat them all," I tease my daughter
"I swear I didn't eat all of them," She says looking away
"I guess I'll have to see," I say taking my shoes off and giving my wife, Kate, a kiss
"How was work," she asks
"Wonderful, I've been placed on another VR title," I say as I walk to the kitchen
"Ah, what one is it this time," she asks curiously
"It appears to be a remake of SAO, to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the launch," I say
"An, that's nice of them, I'm guessing the fact that your a survivor played a big part in them signing you?" She asks as I see the lone cookie on the baking sheet
"Hey, I'm sure they had other reasons such as my skill," I say as I pick the cookie up and taste it. Jenny looked nervously to see how I liked it.
"Hmmm, wonderful, if only I had other cookies to eat. But hey! I guess the Cookie Monster ate the rest," I say looking at Jenny
She looks away," I'm glad you liked them," she says.
"You mean it," I tease
"I couldn't help it, mommy said I only had to live your one," She pouts
"I'm just teasing, you can have as many cookies as you want, "I say hugging her once again.
"Hehe," She laughs as we embrace
"Ok, go to the living room, I have to cook dinner now," Kate says booting us away from the kitchen
"Whoops," I say as I turn the TV on
"What to watch," I ask myself
"Let me pick let me pick!" She says eagerly
"Ok, ok, but only if you save more cookies for me in the future," I tell her. She takes a minute to think about
"Fine you can choose the tv show, more cookies are better than TV anyway, " She reasons
"Ok," I smirk as I go through the channels
I see my favourite childhood movie and put it on. After I slowly faded into sleep.
1 year later
"You ready Jenny?" I ask her
"Yes! I wanna play daddy's new game!" She says excitedly
"Well then calm down," Kate says fixing Jennys messy hair as we walk in the building
Today I and my family are testing the final product of the SAO remake, I nod to all of my coworkers as we head to the testing room
