Luke's POV
"Luke! Get that thing away from me!" Alex yelled as I laughed, chasing her around the house with one of Chloe's frogs in my hand
"But it's so cute!" I laughed.
I she was in the corner, and I laughed as I slowly crept near her.
"Luke. Don't you dare." She warned.
I smirked and held it close to her face, and she closed her eyes.
I felt someone grip onto my waist and pull me back.
"Lucas." I heard a familiar voice warn.
I looked behind me and saw Michael.
"Oh. Hi Mikey." I said, my cheeks turning a little red.
"Stop messing with Alex." He laughed, and pecked my cheek.
I huffed. "Michael won't be here to save you while you're sleeping." I retorted, looking back to Alex, mad smirking.
She stuck her tongue out at me, crossing her arms.
"And I also won't save you when she beats you up, Luke." He said, leading me down the stairs.
We walked back into the kitchen, and he took the frog from me, putting it back in its tank.
"How's your day going?" He asked me, and pecked the corner of my mouth.
"It's good. But. I have something I wanna show you." I said, leading him to my room.
"Okay. So. I have a way to communicate with you if one of us is grounded or it's like 3:00 a.m." I said quickly, pulling two cans attached to a long thin rope out of my drawer.
"What's this?" He asked, picking one side up.
"Peace tea cans. Our houses aren't far apart at all so we can stick one can to my balcony door, the other on yours, and when one of us wants to talk, you open the door, pull on the can, and it'll hit the other persons door." I said and smiled.
"Well dang. That's clever." He laughed, and I smiled at him again
-
"Okay! Now catch it before it comes back!" I said from my balcony, throwing the can over to Michael's
It was only about, I don't know, 40 feet away maybe.
He caught it, and pulled it into him
"Got it!" He confirmed.
"Okay! Just pin it up to the glass door until you wanna talk, then just pull on it."
"Luke. You're cute." He said, and leaned his elbows against the railing, propping his head up.
"N-No I'm not.." I blushed, and looked down at the wood below my feet.
"Yes you are, Lukey." He gushed.
I giggled and looked back towards Michael.
He smiled back at me, and ruffled his hair with his hand.
"I want a kiss." He said quietly, but loud enough for me to hear.
"Well. You better come get it. It's right..." I hooked a finger on my bottom lip. "..here." I said innocently.
He bit his lip, and closed his sliding glass door. I saw him run from his room, and it was only moments before he was bursting into my room.
He closed, and locked the door behind him.
"You're such a tease Luke. You know?" He said, closing my curtains.
"Maybe. But why are you-"
"I don't want my mum to see us making out through your window." He said, pushing me onto the bed.
"Whoever said we were gonna do that?" I smirked.
He narrowed his eyes at me, and straddled my waist. I felt his lips attach to my neck and I leaned my head slightly to the side.
He led pecks up to my cheek, and right before he landed his lips on mine, I heard a loud knock at the door.
I sighed, and got out from under Michael as he laid on the bed.
I walked over to the door, and opened it quickly.
"Yes?" I asked. I looked down to see Chloe standing there's with Alex right next to her.
"Were going to Walmart. Wanna come?" Alex asked.
I shook my head. "No thank you." I said and smiled.
"Okay. Me, Chloe, and mum are going." She said.
I nodded, and waited at the top of the stairs case until they were outside.
"Michael. Come here." I said, leading him towards the living room.
We walked downstairs, and I laid on the big couch, and he laid behind me, holding onto my waist.
We found a movie on Netflix. It was Romeo and Juliet. Not the one with Leonardo, though.
I love watching Romeo and Juliet movies.
The guy who played Romeo had slightly curly brown hair and hypnotizing blue eyes. He was extremely attractive, honestly.
Michael obviously has the same thoughts.
"Dang he's hot." Michael whispered.
He was very very hot.
"He's okay." I shrugged.
"Really Luke? Do you see his eyes? And his hair." He sighed contently.
I looked back up at the screen.
I don't wanna watch this anymore. I want my boyfriend to drool over me, not some actor.
But the actor is pretty. I'm not.
I played with my fingers, and occasionally glanced up to see Michael with his eyes locked on the screen.
Why am I not pretty?
