Michael's POV.
I knew Luke was uncomfortable. I could tell by the way he sat.
He sat on the edge of his chair, and his hands were in his lap as he looked at the people in front of him. They were talking to him, but I couldn't tell what they were saying, since I was on the other side of the room.
He smiled when the guys said something to him, but it quickly went away once they said something else. He scooted back in his chair, shaking his head. I saw a frown appear on his face, and the guys turned around, laughing.
He looked down at his stomach, and ran his hand over it.
I looked down at my desk and pulled out a piece of paper from my binder.
"What did they say to you?"
I crumbled up the paper, and tossed it over to his desk.
He looked over to me, and back to the paper ball.
I watched him open it, and pick up his pencil. He started to write something, then he sat the pencil down, and threw it back to me.
"It's nothing important."
I frowned and glanced over to him. His head was propped up on his hand.
The teacher passed back worksheets, and bless the kid who asked if we could work with partners, because the teacher said yes.
I hurried over to Luke's desk, and sat beside him.
He didn't acknowledge me, or say hi. He just stayed still and silent.
"Tell me what's wrong." I whispered.
"I will. Soon. I promise. Just not now." He said quietly, and I nodded.
"Let's go on a date. We haven't gone anywhere in a while." I said. Maybe I could get his mind off whatever is stressing him out.
"Really? Where?" He asked.
"I dont know. We could go to the cliff and just talk about stuff."
"That sounds nice." He whispered, and smiled up at me.
"Good." I said, resting my head on my palm.
He sat up, and looked at the work in front of him.
"Do you know the answers?" He asked.
"Nope. Do you?"
"No." He sighed.

Luke's POV.
"I don't wanna go to science Mikey. I don't like those girls." I whined, leaning onto him , as he dug through his locker.
"Sorry babe, but if Liz finds out that I helped you ditch, she'll have my head on her wall. Now. Go to class." He said, poking my nose.
I laid my head on his shoulder, and groaned. I got back up, and walked towards the science class room. I felt eyes on me, and I smiled back at whoever smiled at me first.
I walked into the science room, and immidiately saw Amanda.
I tried to aviod her by sitting at the back, and thankfully it worked. however, a bunch of guys surrounded me.
"Oh hey Little Orphan Lukey." one said.
"That's old. I got adopted." i said bluntly.
"Whoever it was probably felt bad for you."
"Sure." i mumbled, opening my book.
I jumped when my stuff flew from the table.
i looked up, and saw a guy who wasn't talking to me. He Looks new. Ive never seen him before.
"You're in my seat." he snapped.
"we don't have assigned seats." i said slowly.
"Shut up, and move." He said harshly.
"No." I said in a sassy tone, and gave him a disgusted look.
He laughed and shook his head. "Youre gonna regret saying that."
"Sorry but i dont like new guys walking in here thinking they can step all over everybody." wow. i dont think ive ever stood up for myself like this.
I think i like it.
