Alex Dorame is so pretty that it upsets me
Luke's POV.
I walked up Ashton's driveway, and knocked on his door roughly.
The door opened not long after that, and I placed my hands on my hips, seeing Ashton in front of me.
"Hey Luke." He said, and smiled.
"Who's the blonde bimbo who hasn't figured out what her shirt size is?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow at me. I crossed my arm over my chest, and stared at him with a permanent scowl on my face. He moved so I could step in, and he shut the door behind me. "Okay. Please elaborate." He said.
"Alex went to the mall last night, and she saw you holding hands with and kissing some blonde air-head."
"So. Me and Alex aren't dating." He said.
"That's the problem you idiot! You act like you are, and then you go do it with someone else!" I said, punching his arm.
He stayed silent, glancing at the ground.
"Do you even like her?" I asked quietly.
"Yes I like her. It's just, Abbey is, I don't know how to say it. She's just different."
"What does she even look like?" I asked, as he pulled out his phone. He typed in the password, and turned it to me. She was a curvy girl, and she had long blonde hair. Her shorts were so short they were barely visible. Her boobs were popping out of her shirt. There's absolutely nothing wrong with her looking like this, just the fact that she was wearing a tank top that said 'White Trash' In big letters. She seemed proud to be labeled as a slut.
"The reason you like her is because she's different?" I asked.
"Yeah. She is." Ashton said, pushing his phone back in his pocket.
"Whatever. But you really hurt Alex." I said. He sighed, and ran a hand over his face. "I didn't know she was gonna be there."
"It doesn't matter that you didn't know she was gonna be there. The problem is that you led her on into thinking you liked her. You kissed her, you hugged her, you acted like a boyfriend for like a year, but you never asked her out. This whole time I thought you two were together." I said quietly.
"I was gonna ask her out, but then I met Abbey and I didn't wanna date Alex, and have feelings for someone else." He said. I sighed.
"Do you like Abbey, or do you like her body?" I asked. He looked up at me.
"Luke. C'mon she's hot. I mean-" "But she's proud to be labeled as a slut. Okay." I said.
"Just shut up, Luke. I can date whoever I want-" "Just stay away from my sister." I said, and rolled my eyes.
"No. Luke. I like Alex-" "If your gonna be with two girls, let me make it easy for you to decide between them: Stay away from my sister." I said, gritting my teeth together. He laughed sourly, and rolled his eyes. "She's not your sister Luke. Aren't parents required for that- oh wait. You don't have any." He said, and I crossed my arms. "We have Liz and she's the only mum we want. Now stop talking about that, and-"
"Luke. Just st-" he started. "Don't interrupt me!" I said, holding my hand up to his face.
"I don't appreciate you making my sister think that you want to be with her when you're actually going around behind her back with fake tanned whores. Sorry if you don't like it that Alex respects herself, but if you're too enthusiastic to get into someone's pants, stay away from her." I said, and opened the door.
I closed the door behind me, and started walking back home.
--
I was greeted by Alex once I came back home.
"What the hell did you say?!" She asked sternly.
"I told him to stay away from you." I said, and her face fell. "Luke. That's the problem. Even though he's a jerk, I don't want him to stay away from me." She pouted.
"He only likes that other girl for her body Alex." I said, and touched her arm, running my thumb over it soothingly. she looked down. "Why doesn't he like mine?" She asked. My mouth fell open a little, I didn't know how to respond. "If I was pretty like her he would want to be with me." She said, turning from me. I grabbed her arm. "Alex. You are the most beautiful girl in the world, and the fact that you respect yourself, and don't show off every part of your body like her makes you even more beautiful. Don't think bad about yourself." I said, pulling her into a hug.
She laid her head down on my shoulder, and we stood in the doorway for a minute.
"I don't wanna see Ashton near you anymore." I said, and she looked up.
"I don't know Luke. If he comes over of course I'm gonna talk to him, but he has a way with words that makes me fall for him every time he speaks." She said quietly.
"I know. It's the same way at Michael. I can never stay mad at him." I said, and laughed a little.
She nodded. "I love him."
"How do you know you love him?" I asked, running my hand over her hair. "Because Luke. We've been hanging out for almost a year and a half. He always kisses me and makes me feel loved. How could I not love him? He's adorable. If I didn't love him would I feel so horrible for something he did?" she asked.
"I thought Ashton was better than to play someone like that. I don't know Alex, he might just be confused or something. Don't try with him. If he really wants you, he'll come to you, okay?" I said, an she nodded.
"Thanks Luke." She said, and smiled.
