The shuffling of papers, the clinking of glass bottles against one another, the small gasps of suprise and the great huffs of failure.

(Y/n) was a student at the prestigious school of UA High. She is enrolled in the support course and has become quite the talk. She didn't work with machinery or technology but rather science. Her classmates admired her work, she always came up with the perfect solutions to most problems. She wasn't afraid to admit it herself, but she too admired her work as well. The nail biting feeling of anticipation when she mixed two unknown substances, forming something brand new. Who knows what that new result could do, it could have endless possibilities just from mixing liquids and solids together. It was bliss, it was relaxing, it was fun, it was what took (Y/n)'s mind off from the harsh reality of society.

The only thing she wasn't allowed to make was a substance used to directly amplify the power of a quirk. Some particular teachers at UA have seen the outcome of that hazardous action. So as a result, it was strictly forbidden. However, you could do something to help somebody upgrade their quirk or help it grow stronger for a certain moment. Little did you know, that's what a certain someone needed your assistance with.

(Y/n)'s POV

You heard the final dismissal bell ring, but you were unmoved from the signal, too busy scribbling down notes and finishing work. Your mind smoothly plowed through many mental notes, questions, thoughts as you worked towards your goal. You were working on a special substance for a member of Class 1-A, Katsuki Bakugo. He wanted something to help him sweat a little more during the fall season, since temperatures were starting to drop. Therefore, making it a little harder for him to warm up during training. It took you a bit to accept his request but you ended up agreeing.

You held the final results in your hand, holding it in the air with glee.

"Finished!" You chirped.

Your small celebration was soon ruined when the door to the lab was jerked open. You jumped at the sudden intrusion and turned around quickly, holding the final product close to your chest.

"Oi, dumbass! Is it ready yet?" Bakugo barked, sliding his hands into the pockets of his pants and walking inside.

"Sure is. But quick question just to make sure, it's already finished but if you agree then you'll like it even more!" You said, still holding the product to your chest with one hand as you pointed your finger at Bakugo with your other hand.

"Alright! Just get to the damn point already!" He grumbled, furrowing his brows in anger.

"Do you.... like spicy food?"

"Hell yea, dumbass!" He snarled, causing you to laugh.

You held out the final product, a small salt shaker with a red salt like substance inside.

"Good, let me explain!" You waved your finger at him then put your hand on your hip.

"Inside this bottle is straight up capsaicin! It's the chemical in peppers and spicy foods that, well, give it the spice! That chemical is in a small cubic form, just like salt. And you know what happens when you eat spicy food? It gets hot! Since this bottle holds nothing but pure spice, the overwhelming sensation will cause you to sweat! Thus, causing your quirk to activate immediately!" You stopped, catching your breath. Bakugo swipes the bottle from your hands.

"Alright, alright! I didn't need to hear you run your damn mouth for that long!" He sneered, you couldn't help but to hold back laughter.

"Alright, one last thing, just sprinkle it on your food during lunch. One light tap will caused some to go onto your food, which is more than enough. Too much will be too much for you to handle!" You slid your hands into the pockets of your lab coat.

"Screw you! Don't tell me what I can and can't handle!" He shouted, small explosions emitting from the palm of his free hand.

You shrugged off his hostility, you knew he appreciated your help deep down inside. That's all that mattered. Though, you liked the thank-you's and the cheers of excitement when you helped other students but all the work you had to go through for so many people really made you consider making them pay a small fee.

"Tch, whatever dumbass. I'm leaving." He said, walking out.

"Aww, you're welcome, Bakugo!" You said in a flirty tone just to piss him off, it sure did when he slammed the door shut when he left.

You clasped your hands together, switching your gaze between the mess you've made and the clock.

It's pretty much 4pm, I can make it to the hideout on time once I clean the lab and get my bag.

You thought to yourself, looking around. Just thinking about your after school "activities" made you feel dirty and mysterious, though you never felt guilty about it. You didn't have an opinion about heros or villains, so you walked the fine line that bordered the two concepts, finding out which intrigued you more. It was a side nobody knew about you. Not many people other than school staff knew about your quirk or what you did outside of school. Unlike majority of the other students, you don't stay in the school's dormitories because "your mother was sickly" and you had to take care of her constantly. That's all the administrators knew about you and that's all you would let them know. But in reality, you don't have a family or anything remotely close.

You stayed with the notorious League of Villains. Kurogiri told you that you were part Nomu or something like that but you were still human and still had emotions. You never really listened to his words, you didn't find it that interesting despite the fact that he's trying to tell you who you are and where you came from. You knew that small portion and that's all you felt like knowing, after all, it wasn't anything of significance to you.

You clapped your hands together, ridding them of the dust and grime while gazing at the clean lab counters and tables. You opened a locker and got your school bag, throwing it over your shoulder.

Sliding open the door, you turned off the lights and sighed, another long day completed. Now you had to tend to a whole different scenario of people.
