Meanwhile in the League of Villains hideout...

"Tomura, I believe there's something we need to discuss..." Kurogiri broke the silence, sitting down at a table with the young leader. It was just them, the other members out doing their own daily activities.

"Go on..." Shigaraki spoke, looking at the small television.

"Do you ever think about (Y/n) in the future? Am I the only one who's getting a little worried?" Shigaraki turns to meet Kurogiri's yellow slits.

"No? Why would I?" Shigaraki looked a little confused yet he felt as if he knows what's about to happen.

"I don't want to disobey All For One's wishes but (Y/n) has been attending UA for quite some time now. Think about how that could affect us..."

"Go on..." Shigaraki nudged his hand.

"You know she secludes herself in that lab, she attends that school everyday and listens to it's teachings. It's supposed to be beneficial for us so we can use it to our advantage and get the upper hand for future missions but... we haven't used that method at all. I've been through her phone before and she has plenty of contacts of those children from the sports festival. Think about it. We can't let her slip through our grasp." He explained, Shigaraki grasped his hands together, interlocking his fingers.

"I understand, we should cut her off from that school. She doesn't dedicate herself to our work enough as it is, I can't speak for her when it comes to school but one small slip up and we can be done for, behind bars for the rest of our lives... or worse." Shigaraki growls.

"We've given her time but now she needs to be mature and understand who she is and what she's meant to do. I try to educate her on who she is and what we stand for but it seems as if she doesn't care. It's time for her to choose us, not necessarily pick a side because we refuse to hand her over to those false heros. But she's been with us since the beginning and it's now time for her to take responsibility and learn. I hope you understand where I'm coming from." Kurogiri stands up and gets a drink.

"Foolish girl..." Shigaraki mutters.

"Are you going to answer me or are we going to have to do this the hard way?" Overhaul growls. You can see him slip off his gloves from a side glance, he stuffs them in his pockets. You've seen what he's done to Magne, you swallow the lump of fear in your throat.

"W-Why do you need to know?" You mutter, knees trembling. Overhaul, flesh and blood, standing right next to you. Your heart raced, you placed a hand on your chest to calm your breathing.

"Why do I need to know...? You're working with me now." He breathed out a chuckle. You had to keep calm, you didn't want to get hurt but the current situation made you feel almost hot and bothered. His presence was intimidating, like a wolf stalking a lamb, which was obviously you... a lamb, weak, fragile, a follower.

As if his presence alone wasn't enough but you were unexpectedly working with him now, this has to be Shigaraki's doing. It all makes sense, what Overhaul just mentioned, the phone call, the business card.

"Working with you?" You whispered, turning to face him.

"Of course, along with... who was it now? Toga and Twice? Yeah, that's it." He spoke, you turned away, grabbing the marvelous lab coat to hide your anxiety.

"Was Shigaraki behind this?" You gripped the plastic hanger as you felt the smooth fabric of the coat.

"Of course, we're both gaining power here. You can come with me when you're done, there's a meeting with our forces very soon." He spoke, grabbing the hanger from your hands and walking to the register.

You jerked your head to watch him walk away, gripping the strap of your school bag. What was he doing!?

You ran up to him as he payed for your coat, handing the bag to you. He walked out as you stood in place, holding the bag in shock. He turned around and scoffed.

"Hey, dumbass. Are you coming or what?" He spat. It took you a second to process what was happening but you eventually ran up to him.

"Follow my lead or else, I despise it but I'm not scared to get blood on my hands." He muttered so only you could hear, walking through the crowded mall by your side.

You wanted to text Uraraka and Mina and let them know you had to leave but if Overhaul got the wrong idea, you're done for.

"A member of the League of Villains, attending UA...? That's a shock, do you plan to betray your team?" He spoke up, making the tension in the atmosphere a bit thick.

"I-I would never, it's hard to explain." You stuttered, sweat forming in your palms as your gripped the shopping bag and your school bag.

"So if you're not a hero, then you're a vigilante?"

"N-No!" You squeaked.

"Then you're a villain?"

"I... don't know what I am. I've grown up with the League after I was taken in by All For One but I walk a fine line between everything. I just serve a single purpose, and that's research to help the League." You mumbled.

"Then since you're helping them, you're a villain. I heard about that last part, I don't think attending that school and doing what you're doing now is very smart. But aside from all that, that's why I chose you to work with me. Your abilities expand beyond my expectations and you can be of use." He spoke, looking up at the cieling, sunlight beaming through the windows.

"Why is Shigaraki doing all of this?"

"For power and for our name, and these heros have been quite curious recently. I always expect the worst." He sighed.

"No friggin way! Is that (Y/n) with a boy!?" You heard a familiar voice. You gasped in terror and froze in your tracks, Overhaul doing the same. You turned around quickly, waving your hands dismissively.

"I-It's not what it looks like!" You screeched, Mina and Uraraka laughed.

You felt an arm snake around your waist, Overhaul pulled you against his chest hastily.

"Oh~? Are these your friends?" Overhaul spoke casually, your hand turning a bright red.

"Ahhhh! Look! She has a boyfriend!" Mina squealed, Uraraka looked a bit uncomfortable, her smile was fake.

"I wouldn't say that, just a close friend from middle school." He chuckled, your heart was racing faster than before.

Uraraka was worried, that looked like Kai Chisaki from the hero meeting she attended, gathered by Sir Nighteye. She wasn't sure what was happening, she couldn't believe it, she couldn't do anything. If it was him, he could have killed her on the spot so she kept quiet for now.

"C'mon, Mina! Don't ruin their time. See ya later, (Y/n)!" Uraraka smiled, her and Mina waving. She dragged Mina away, it seemed a bit odd but you shrugged it off.

You pulled away from Overhaul.

"Y-You didn't need to go that far!" You squeaked, covering your face.

"Then what did you expect me to do?" He hissed.

"I..."

"Exactly." He said, turning around to face the direction he was walking.

"Let's go. Your teammates will be at the Shie Hassaikai very soon." He slipped his hands into his pockets and walked off, with you trailing behind him.
