Sam P.O.V
When I woke up in the morning for the first time ever I was actually excited for school. School seemed so much more fun when you have a friend that you can always hang out with and study with. I got out of bed feeling ready to do anything as long as I had Justin beside me. The truth was that the school is full of fake people so I'm really happy that I have someone who's got my back and not a bunch of fake friends that will leave you the moment they sense trouble. I got to class extra early and found Justin talking to someone on the phone. I wanted to scare him but that just felt impolite so I decided to wait outside of the classroom. I stood there trying not to hear what they were talking about but I couldn't help eavesdropping. Justin was arguing with the person on the other side of the phone and it sounded like the person didn't want him at school today. He got super mad all of a sudden, said an ok and hung up on the person.
"So who were you talking to?" I said as I walked in.
Jackson P.O.V
"Who were you talking to?" I turn around to find Sam standing there.
"Hey Sam I didn't hear you come in, how long were you here?" I asked because I was really scared that she heard what i said
"Long enough to hear you argue with the other person on your phone. Is everything ok?" She asked
"Yeah everything is fine, I was just talking to a friend." I said not really sure if I consider my manager as my friend
"Oh" she said and sat down quietly beside me. I sat down as well and there was a few moments of silence
"You know tha-"
"Do you want me-"
We both started speaking at the same time. I blushed and gestured to her to go first.
"I just wanted to say that you can trust me. I'm not saying that you have to tell me what's going on but I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to." She said gently
I looked down and thought for a moment. Should I really tell her about who I am. If I tell her, would the relationship between us change. Ever since I became known as a member of TFboys, everything had changed. One day in middle school, people began treating me differently. My friends couldn't laugh and joke along with me like they used to and everywhere I went, there would be cameras. There were fans that surrounded my school everyday. I wasn't able to focus on school anymore and needed a place to learn. That's when Roy came up with the dumb idea of letting pretend I'm someone else. Did he seriously think this is a TV drama and I have to hide my identity like some FBI under a mission? Surprisingly, it worked for a few months. I got my work done in the back of the class and not one person noticed me. Unluckily, I started making friends and they finally realized who I was. I had to switch schools again and I was determined to not be discovered. A year has passed and no one noticed or even bothered to talk to me until Sam came. I wasn't sure if I was ready for a change or for me to realize that she's a bad person.
"Hey Jackson. Hello??? EARTH TO JACKSON!!!" I suddenly came back to reality and saw Sam waving her hands in front of my face and yelling my name.
