Third person

The car ride to Zach's house consisted of Zach asking Chloe what was wrong and Chloe not responding. They finally reached his house. Chloe quickly got out of the car and headed inside.

"Chloe. Please just tell me what's wrong." Zach yelled as he walked behind her.

Zach grabbed her arm causing her to stop walking away from him. She winced as his hand touched one of her bruises. Zach noticed that she flinched. She turned to face him. He studied her face and saw a small red mark. He slowly took off her jacket as Chloe felt tears fall down her face. Zach's eyes landed on the bruises on her wrist and arm.

"Who did this to you?" Zach asked her sharply.

"I fell." She whispered as small tears fell down her face.

"Bullshit! Who did this to you?" Zach asked her again.

"Chase. It was a accident." Chloe whispered slowly.

Zach ran a hand through his hair as he stared at the blonde girl.

"Did he hit you anywhere else?" Zach whispered.

"My face." Chloe whispered as more tears fell.

"You shouldn't go back to him Chloe. He's abusing you, it isn't safe. He's hit you more than once, it's not an accident if he hits you." Zach said as Chloe stared blankly at the ground.

Apart of her knew Zach was right but her heart loved Chase.

"He loves me." Chloe mumbled as she looked up to meet Zach's eyes.

His eyes were full of worry and anger.

"If he really loved you, He wouldn't hit you." Zach said to her.

Zach pulled the smaller girl into his arms as she cried.

"I think you should break up with him." Zach whispered.

"Can we go inside?" Chloe asked Zach.

He nodded as they walked inside.

"Hey Chloe." Jonah said as she sat on the couch.

"Get out." Zach mouthed to Jonah.

Jonah left the room leaving the two alone.

"How long as he been hitting you?" Zach asked Chloe.

"Only recently and it's only because he's jealous of you. He loves me so much that he hates seeing me with you." Chloe said as more tears fell down her face.

Zach didn't know how to respond. Chase was jealous of him?

"That doesn't give him the right to hit you." Zach said back.

"Are you even considering going back?" Zach asked her.

"I don't know." She mumbled.

"He's just gonna keep hitting you and I don't want to see you get hurt." Zach said to her.

Zach wanted to kick his ass but he knew Chloe loved him. He also knew that she shouldn't go back to him and she was only gonna do hurt.

"Why would you ever go back to him?" Zach asked her as she held her head in her hands.

When she didn't respond Zach wrapped his arms around the smaller girl and held her close to him.

"I'm sorry." He whispered as he stared down at her.
