Twenty seven

Third person

Chloe was woken up by her phone ringing. She groaned as she grabbed her phone and squinted to see who was calling her. It was Corbyn.

"Hello?" She mumbled into the phone.

"Did you just wake up? It's fricking 1:00." Corbyn yelled into the phone.

"Yes I did. Now what do you want?" She mumbled as she tried to wake herself up.

"Me and the boys are getting pizza and there are gonna be fun arcade games there and we wanted to know if you wanted to go." Corbyn said into the phone.

"Is Zach going?" Chloe asked Corbyn.

"Yes. Why do you ask? Do you want to go on another date with him?" Corbyn asked sarcastically.

"No. I'll go." Chloe replied.

"Okay. We will pick you up in about 20 minutes." Corbyn said as he hung up the phone.

"What did she say?" Zach asked Corbyn anxiously.

"She said yes." Corbyn said to him.

Chloe got ready and thought about how it might be weird seeing Zach. They did kiss the other night but she hoped it wouldn't be awkward. It was weird that Corbyn called her when Zach's the one who usually invites her. She just needed to not make things awkward today. They were still friends and nothing had changed. Well she did have secret feelings for him. She got dressed in a cute outfit and did light makeup. She was just about ready when she heard someone knocking on her door.

"Come in!" She yelled as she ran towards the door.

She opened the door revealing Zach. Her breath got caught in her throat as she looked at him. She tried to speak but nothing came out.

"You ready?" Zach asked her breaking the awkward silence.

"Yes." She replied as she grabbed her purse and followed him to the car.

"You look cute today." Zach said softly causing Chloes face to get red.

"Thanks." She replied as she got into the car.

Zach got in after her and sat right next to her. The seats were very close and their legs were touching. Chloe felt nervous being close to Zach.

"I'm starving!" Jack complained.

"We are almost there. Shut up!" Jonah yelled at him as he continued to drive.

"We are probably going to be the oldest people there. It's kinda a place for little kids." Corbyn said as he laughed.

"Zach looks and acts like a kid so we can pretend to be his parents." Chloe says jokingly causing everyone but Zach to laugh. Zach smacked her arm softly.

"Oww." She yelled as she pretended to be dramatic.

"You are shorter than me and younger than me!" Zach yelled at her.

"I'm like three months younger than you!" Chloe yelled causing Zach to playfully roll his eyes at her.

She shoved his arm causing him to shove her back.

"You abuse me." She mumbled as she looked out the window.

"You are the one who hits me all the time." Zach complained as he looked at her.

She smiled as she looked back at him. She opened her mouth to say a snarky thing back but Corbyn interrupted her.

"Could you guys stop fighting like five year olds in love and kiss already!" Corbyn yelled causing Chloes face to get bright red.

Chloe looked over at Zach and saw his face was red to.

"Seriously dude. Bad timing." Jonah said under his breath.

Bad timing. Did Zach tell them about the kiss? Chloe gave Zach a confused look and he just shrugged in response.

"We are here!" Jonah yelled.

They all piled out of the car. Zach and Chloe got out last.

"Get on my back." Zach said with a grin as he squatted down.

"Why?" Chloe asked as she laughed.

"Because it's fun. Now get on." He said.

Chloe sighed as she jumped on his back. He ran as fast as he could as Chloe screamed.

"When a car hits us I am killing you." Chloe squealed as he ran through the whole parking lot.

He almost dropped her causing her to scream but he immediately caught her.

"Put me down I want pizza." Chloe complained.

The other boys had already gone inside. He finally set her down and grabbed her hand and walked towards the door.

"Did you tell the other guys about our kiss?" Chloe asked Zach awkwardly.

"I just told Jonah." Zach replied.

Chloe nodded in response as they walked inside.
