Tessa's Pov I woke up today with Hardin laying next to me
I stare at him for a while, taking in his scent
We've only known eachother for a little over a month, but i really like him like really like him.
Im pulled out of my thoughts once i hear Hardin's voice H: what're you thinking about? Fuck his voice sounds so hot right now I look up and watch him lick his bottom lip, I've noticed it's just a habbit of his I feel my lips form a smile T: nothing
I feel his arms slip around my waist, pulling me closer leaving no space between us
I look up at him to see he's already staring at me He leans down and pecks my forehead H: no word from trevor? I just shake my head no
after a couple of minutes of not talking he starts getting out of bed H: come on lets go make some breakfast before your mum wakes up I smile at him and get out of bed Im just in my band T-shirt and Hardin puts on some sweatpants

We walk out into the kitchen and i gather the pans and seasonings
As im finishing breakfast my mom walks into the kitchen T: goodmorning *smiles* She just walks to the cabinet and gets out a coffee mug and simply walks back into her room I look at Hardin in confusion and walk back to her room
T: mom? are you okay? She just sits there with the empty coffee mug in her hand and scrolling through her phone T: um we made some breakfast No answer, is she pissed? T: me and Hardin were thinking about going out later on, do you wanna join us?
nothing
T: well were going to eat then get ready, if you change your mind let me know Before i walk out i turn around T: would you like me to get you some coffee? I ask gesturing to her empty coffee mug she just shakes her head no
I walk out and close the door behind me, pressing my back up against the door a little disappointed and confused.
I walk out into the kitchen to see Hardin eating he looks up at me with curious eyes I just shrug and grab a plate putting some eggs on it and get a glass of water T: I told her we had plans to go out today and offered if she wanted to join us I stab my eggs with the fork and kind of play around with them on the plate T: I told her to let us know before we leave, but she didn't say one word, i dont get it i thought we were doing great I look down at my food and suddenly lose my appetite H: hey its not your fault, you know shes going to have mood swings every once in a while, shes a woman I laugh at his seriousness T: yeah your right, I just dont want her to be mad at me, even if it is over nothing. Ive been a disappointment to her for 18 years, and were finally starting to get along now that shes dieing
