It's still thursday, but Mew decided to would visit the hospital since he's glad that he's going to graduate soon. He want to tell his sister soon, he couldn't possibly wait until saturday (Mew visit his sister in the hospital once a week every saturday).
"Do you know, Gulf? Actually, since you first time came here that day, Jom is gradually getting better. The nurse in charge said that. And the best part it the last time I went here, her hand actually moved a little."
"Really? Aww, I should have come with you then last time!"
"I'm sorry I left you alone at home that day, haha. I need to go here in the morning, and you were sleeping soundly I couldn't wake you up."
"That's why you came home so happily that time. Why didn't you tell me at that time?"
"Well I wanted to surprise you when she wake up since I thought she will wake up soon after moving her finger like that. But apparently, it seems like she wouldn't wake up so soon. It's been almost a week since the last time I visited."
"Don't lose hope Mew... Aww, but I want to see her moving her hand too!"
"Don't be like that. She might move again today and you might get to see it, don't you think so?"
They arrived at Jom's room after some chit-chat. Mew open the door and greet Jom cheerfuly, even if he never get a reply from Jom.
"Jom, how are you?!"
Mew sit right next to Jomkwan and he hold his sister's hand tightly, "Jom, I'm going to graduate soon!"
"That's why I came to see you today, hehe."
"Such a good news, isn't it?"
"I'm glad I'm actually graduating soon. I want to save more money for you and your future."
"That's why... wake up soon, na??"
"Ah! Also..."
He then waved at Gulf, calling him to come closer.
"This. Today I come with him. He is my boyfriend, Jom. Isn't he lovely? His name is Gulf."
!!!
"Hi-hi... Jom... I-I'm... Gulf!"
"He used to be a fairy. That's why he's so lovely and pretty."
"..."
This is the first time Gulf hear a compliment for him from Mew. It suddenly occured to him how on the first day he came to the hospital and meet Jom, he used to hope that Mew someday would act softly to him just like how Mew acted towards his little sister. But now look at him, he couldn't be less soft than he already is. Gulf is just so happy, he couldn't even be happier than this.
"Let's bake cookies together again after you wake up, Jom! Let's invite Gulf to bake with us."
"Mew..."
"Hmm?" Mew didn't take his stare off his sister.
"Can I hold her hand?"
"... Yes... You can..."
Gulf bring himself closer to the bed, walking as slowly as he can so he will not scared the 'sleeping' girl. Mew then gave the hand he hold to Gulf. Gulf took the hand with care.
"... s-sis... sister... ... my sister... wake up soon, na. Your brother miss you so much..."
...
...
The sister doesn't reply. But without anyone realising, her mouth slowly turning into a beautiful small curve.
