Chapter 21 - I Love You.

Gulf has made up his mind. He's going to leave Mew. It's not because he want to, but he has to. Mew will be happier without him, he thought.

But before he can do that, he decided to talk with Eye.

"Hello, Eye..."

"Hi." Eye sit down right next to Gulf. Right now, they are sitting down in the faculty's canteen.

"Eye..."

"Yeah?"

"..."

"What is it? What do you want to say to me?"

"Please... take care of Mew..."

His voice is so small to the point where Eye can barely hear it. His whole body is shaking, and his eyes are teary. Because he doesn't actually want to do it. He doesn't want to pass his responsibility--taking care of Mew--to someone else, but he has to, for Mew's sake.

"Huh? Why? Aren't you supposed to do it? You're his childhood friend, aren't you?"

No, I'm his boyfriend. I'm supposed to be his boyfriend, but...

"..."

"You even said that he's yours when we were in the bar, you don't remember? Now why suddenly you want to give him to me?"

"I can't take care on him anymore... I need to go somewhere far away."

"Ah!! That's why he was crying his heart out!"

"W-what...?"

"Where are you going? Mew was desperate because you're going to leave him."

"What?!"

"He was stressed out the whole day, and when I asked why, he said everyone he loves leave him and he doesn't know why."

This time, hearing how stressed Mew because of him doesn't make him sad, but instead he feel reliefed. Reliefed that he's still hold so much power that he can affect the man so much.

"Can you not go? He really loves you..."

"He... loves me?"

"He said you're the reason why he still can keep going on life. Your existence somehow gives him inspiration and his whole work are much smoother when you're there. He said your the only person he wants to take care when he already has so much responsibility on his hand. He was crying his heart out knowing that you're going to leave hi--"

Gulf stand up. He can't bear to hear it more than that. He's the reason why Mew is sad and he doesn't like it. He only wants to make Mew smile. But before he can run away to Mew, Eye held the tip of his shirt.

"Take care of phi Mew, okay? He loves you so much."

Gulf nod, and he run as fast as he can, leaving Eye with her tears knowing that her love life ended right in this moment.

He doesn't care anymore about anything else but Mew. Gulf is running around the campus looking for Mew. He crashed into some student there while running but he doesn't care nor stop. What's important now is Mew, nothing else.

Then, he found him. Walking towards his class. Gulf gather all his power to run as fast as he can and hug Mew as tighly as it can be as a sign that he never will let go of this man ever again.

"Mew!"

"No, let me go."

"No! I'm not letting go! I'm not going to let you go ever again!"
