Shoji's POV

"How can I call myself a hero if I couldn't even save my boyfriend for dying. I'm a failure!"

"Haven't you always been a failure?" The voices say. Why are they back. I need to figure out how to get rid of them.

"Hey dude? You ok?" Kuraim says next to me. A worried look on his face. I guess this entire time I've been looking sad. I snap out of it to realise we are in a taxi. I'm guessing on the way to the hotel.

"Yeah, yeah. Just thinking about something." I say trying to stop him from worrying. Ever since Fumi died, I've had these dreams. But, that one was the worst one. By far. Something tells me they are going to get worse.

"About Fumikage?" He questions.

"Yeah, but it's nothing to worry about. I just need some music then I'll be ok." I say pulling my phone out of my pocket. I listen to music a lot. It's because the playlist I listen to was made by Fumi back when we were friends.

Flash Back

We are on our way to the movies to see something that Toko really wants to see. Of course I tag along (totally not because I have a crush on him or anything). Thing's are quite silent in the taxi. So I pull out my phone I scroll to see what playlist I want.

"What are you looking at Shoji?" He questions looking at my phone.

"Trying to find a playlist that I actually want to listen too." I respond, scrolling more.

"I have a bunch of songs I know you'll like. And only about umm seventy five percent of them are emo." He smiles. I pass my phone to him. I can see him make a playlist called 'Octo's bored music'. It takes him a while but he gives it back. I put my earphones in and start listening to the songs. It's amazing. Some songs are very nostalgic to me and some I've never even heard before. I love it.

End of Flash Back

The car ride is extremely tranquil. We soon arrive at the hotel. By this time I'm way to tired to inspect anything and I just grab my bags.

"Wait here while I check us in." Kuraim whispers, pointing towards a chair next to me.

I sit down and look around. The place is very expensive looking. I mean he inherited Fumikage's money which he inherited from his parents when they got put in jail. So I'm not surprised he can afford this. It's all marble. But, not white marble but a peach coloured marble. There's a glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There is also a beautiful fountain in the centre of the room. Flowing out water in a calm and synchronized way.

I just focus on my music. Waiting Kuraim to come back. After twenty long minutes he finally gets back.

"Ok let's get to our rooms. We can take the elevator over there." He informs pointing to the silver elevator ahead of us. We walk over there and take it.

There's already a family in there but we manage to squeeze in.

"Hey Kuraim what number is our room?" I question.

"Room 245." He responds.

"Ok." I say back.

"Wait? You two are sleeping in the same room?" The mother of the family questions.

"Yeah we are ma'am." I say to her kindly. I can tell she was American. The accent gave it away.

"Are you two together?" She questions, a confused look on her face.

"No! I'm here to help him get his boyfriend who is my brother." Kuraim explains.

"O-oh nice." She responds. The elevator dings open. "Oh it's our floor. Come on kids. It's the room just down the hall." They say leaving. But, just as the elevator closes I hear.

"That octopus thing is dating a man? Ew. Did he infect the children?" That filled me with rage. I can tell that Kuraim heard this and saw me get angry.

"Dude, it's ok. Leave them to be arrogant idiots. They won't get far in life."  He calmly says.

This does calm me down and we quickly arrive at out floor. We leave the elevator. Kuraim swipes the keycard and we walk in.

I lay down on the bed and stare up at the celling.

"How can I call myself a good person?"
