Chapter 6 - Chewing Gum

You were still shaken up by the incident.
When you had looked away, Taehyung had just attacked him.
He did deserve a punishment, but that was too violent.
'Taehyung is unpredictable at times and that's terrifying, but why did he get so mad over his stupid comment?'

"Y/N, I don't think he's a good influence." you snapped back to reality, when Kai said something.
"I agree, he's too aggressive. Who knows, he might end up attacking you." Mark looked at you.

'they're right. He is bad, but... Why?'
You were growing impatient, but you couldn't just throw yourself on him.
'Besides, his problems aren't my business.'

"I know, it's just MinJi told us at least try and befriend him. I'm not giving already." you said, determined to find answers.

"Come on." Irritation started to fill your head up.
The searching in you backpag was a fail. You couldn't find the gum you bought.
"Great, money down the drain." you mumbled sarcastically, looking up at the sky.
School was over, but you stood outside searching for gum.

"Need help?" you turned around to see Taehyung, smiling at you.
"It's okay. I just lost some gum."
saying it out loud, it was pretty tragic.
That gum could've been enjoyed and you just wasted money on it, just to have it disappear.

"Let's go to the shop and get some. I'll pay." he grabbed your and started walking.

"How tall are you?"
"194." He smiled, proud of his height.
You almost snorted.
'194 cm? That crazy!' you knew he was tall, but damnn! You thought you were exaggerating.

"Oh, and call me Tae. We're friends."
You nodded as response, still surprised by his height.
Besides, your hand disappeared into his when you held hands.
It's kinda cute.

"We're here." you entered the small shop.
"Let's go the candy section." he squeezed your hand lightly.

"Yes, thank you again."
"Anything for you." He smiled, taking the gum and the other treats you wanted, from you.
"Let's pay." he walked over to the cashier.

It was kinda weird how he treated you like a child.
Like a mom and her precious baby.
That childish speaking manner and tone.
You quickly shrugged the thought off.

"Bab-/N." He yelled to you, hinting for you to come closer.
You came closer, just as he was done paying.

'What did he just say?'

Taehyung POV

'Fuck, that slipped right out my mouth. She's going to be weirded out by me. God-Fucking-dammit, Tae!'
I mentally sighed at myself.

"Here's your things." I handed her snacks and went outside on the busy street of Seoul.
"T-Thanks, Tae."

'Yep, she definitely noticed and now, I'm fucked.'
I had in mind to ask her if she'd wanna hang out, but this was going to get awkward.

Thinking of solutions, I spotted a familiar silhouette, two familiar silhouettes actually.
'What the hell are they doing here?'

'They can't see me with her.
They're gonna bomboard me with questions and weird Y/N out even more.'

"Y/N, it's time to go." I grabbed her hand and pulled her along with me.

"Taehyung, what are you doing here?"
I stopped dead in my tracks and carefully turned around to face him.

Yoongi and Jungkook...

"And ain't that the girl who broke your nose?" Jungkook added, finally noticing her.
"It is." Yoongi said, starting to make eye contact with my baby.

She looked down on the ground.
'I guess she doesn't like people staring at her.'

"Is she your-" Yoongi got interrupted by Y/N deciding to speak up.
"I need to go, I have some swimming lessons I need to attend.
Thank you for the treats. I'll pay you back later." she hugged me and left.

'those bitches. Just coming in and ruining my moment.'
I clenched my fists.
"That didn't go too well. Want to grab some food and play Overwatch?"
The youngest turned to me.

I rolled my eyes and pushed them aside, so I could leave.
"Woah chill."
I ignored Yoongi's comment and kept walking.
'If they get near her, I will beat them unconscious.'

Fuck it if I get expelled anyway.
I'll take Y/N with me then.
