Chapter 38 - Backstory

"Dad?"
"Taehyung?"

Before a response could be made, Taehyung stormed out the door.

"Tae." you whimpered, running after him.

"Taehyung, stop running!"
"No!"

You had been chasing him down the street for a while now.

Running closer, when you finally got a good grib around his wrist, he stopped running.

"What's wrong with you?"
"He shouldn't be alive. He shouldn't fucking be alive!" he yelled, tears dwelling up in his beautiful eyes.

He finally broke down on his knees and started to cry. You got down to his level and started hugging him as comfort.

"he should be fucking dead. That fucking bastard."

"shhh Tae. He's gone now. It's alright."
"No. No, it's not!" he couldn't stop crying.

"it's alright now. You're gonna be fine, Tae." only his sniffles could be heard now.
"feeling better?"
"yeah."
"good." you responded awkwardly, not knowing what to do anymore.

"Wanna talk about it?"

Fine..."

"It started when my mom met my dad in high school, only after a few months, my mom got pregnant at 18 with me. My dad wanted my mom to have an abortion but she refused and insisted that he was apart of my life-"

He looked at you, tearing up before continuing.

" And everything was fine until I turned 6. He started turning abusive. It was always important for him to remind me of the fact I was a failed abortion. 'Taehyung, you're not enough.' 'Taehyung, you fucked it up like you always do.'-" he imitated his father.

"everything thing I did was never enough. He always reminded of everything I wasn't. I hate him so much. He ruined everything.
Later, because of his abuse, I was diagnosed with anger issues so I ran away from home."
You put your arms around him and held on like there was no tomorrow.

"Taehyung, I love you."
"I love you too. So much."

The End

SUMMARY: Taehyung sees his father again after several years, runs away from the hospital, and opens up about being verbally abused by his father and being diagnosed with anger issues. He runs away from home. Y/N then tells him that she loves him.

On a lighter note: I've been thinking about making JJK fic where Jungkook is a cold dilf. Sounds interesting?
