both companies decided to let the "rumors" die itself, that's what they expect. but the "rumors" are still there for almost three weeks. and to add to that, the fans begging the detective they are, digged some old pictures of chan and ria before ria became a trainee and after chan became a trainee. and now they are clearing the supposed to be rumors to protect the family of the artist and the artist themselves.

Both groups' fans gone wild after seeing the interaction of Chan and Ria at SBS Gayo Daejeon. Spectulating that the two artists are dating and even trended a ship name, RiaChan. It has been weeks but the fans is still talking about it.
Just earlier today, 01-10-19, both of their agencies have responded.
JYP Entertainment released and a statement that says, "Chan and Ria are not dating, and infact they are siblings. The interaction caught by the fans and the camera was Chan and Ria catching up with their lives since they both have been busy with promotions. And infact, Ria was in one episode of Stray Kids' survival show, she's the one who called Chan and the members to give them a 'goodluck' because they perform in the last episode. I hope you all stop the dating rumors."
SM Entertainment statement was something similar, "Our artist Ria and Stray Kids' leader Chan are not dating. They are siblings, I hope you all now stop the hate and continue to support them as siblings."
