NCT's RIA gave fans a shocking news with recent VLive. She bless everyone with her voice by doing a short covers of requested songs by fans. And revealed why her scheduled performances in music shows are cancelled.
But there was a particular reason why Ria sat infront of the camera and began recording, which all of us could have been notice with the recent picture of hers that is circulating online.

Standing up and putting her leg on the table to show fans her injured ankle. "I was supposed to perform my side track, gotta go, in music shows but we have to cancel it because of this." As she continues to point to her injured ankle.
"It was the night of July 2, I was actually practicing that song [ gotta go ] with high heels when I went out of balance making me trip and my right ankle sprain. But thankfully I am a light weighted person so it is just a mild or low-grade sprain. So I'll be having this crutches for a week." She said as she show her crutches.
She goes on to explain why she was hospitalised, "I was hospitalised, July 4, because I got a very high fever almost the same time I got my injury. I was in the hospital for week because of that but again, thankfully my temperature went back to normal after staying there for a week."
She ended the explanation with, "I'm very sorry guy, I didn't mean to worry anyone of you including my members."
Timeline for Ria's injury and hospital incident:
Injury: The night of July 2, 2020 when Ria got her ankle sprained she needed to keep the crutches for two weeks. So july 16, 2020 her sprain is alread good and no crutches needed but was advised to still not put too much pressure on her right foot.
Hospitalised: July 4, 2020 when Ria had a high fever and was rushed to the hospital. Morning of July 11, 2020 when she got discharge from the hospital and was advised to not to practice as she might relapse.
