jieun is her dongsaeng in produce x 101, the only girl in the competition, sm's trainee, and lucas' little sister. that's why she's close with her.
while in the produce x 101 interview room...
"who are you close with except your brother?" mnet's staff asked, "i'm very close to ria unnie also with taeyong oppa." jieun said, "now that i remember, i miss ria unnie. and now that i'm experiencing what she's experienced and still will experience makes me miss her more." jieun said pouting.
after her interview she feels a little down because of the interview.
"hey jieunnie! we need to practice in the 7th sense room!" yohan shouted at jieun.
"coming!!" she said.
once they went in the practice room, they were told to fall in line because a surprise mentor will come.
"who do you think it is?" jungmo asked. "someone from the group your covering." the staff gave a hint. "lucas oppa!!" jieun shouted. "taeyong sunbae?" "make sunbae?" the guys guess.
the door then opened, revealing ria.
"unnie!!!" jieun hugged the girl, while the guys watch in awe.
sm artists and trainees really is something. the guys thought.
"annyeonghaseyo sunbaenim!" they shouted in sync.
"anyeonghaseyo, i'm nct's ria." she smiled fondly to them. "i heard you are covering out songs?" she asked, the boy nodded at her.
she asked if they could perform it infront of her and they agreed. after each perfomance she correct what she wrong and gave them advices.
"thank you so much sunbae!" they said in sync. "unnie? can i get an advice too?" jieun asked as they went to the corner of the room, "sure love, what is it?" ria asked concernly, "unnie, i've getting hate. i don't know if i can handle it anymore." jieun said almost whispering.
ria felt like crying because jieun is just so young to get that hate. and she didn't deserve it.
"bub i'm sorry. you know just be yourself. of course not everyone will like us of course. we always need to prove ourselves, and when they see that the hate will minimixe. trust me baby." ria said to jieun, jieun replied with as hug.
after their sister session, they talked back with the boys and she even treat them food.
