ria doesn't actually do diets because she's already thin and underweight. and she's almost the same with naeun from apink.
she doesn't directly reveal it but if you'll ask her if she's underweight or not, she'll tell you.
but for this instant somi revealed it for her, it's okay for ria tho.
somi is in a variety show called stars' top recipe at fun-staurant. the show a clip pf yuri, a female artist, exercising and worrying about her diet.
young-ja, the female host, asked if they knew anyone that does not do diet. "does any one of you knew a idol who doesn't diet??" somi then raise her hand and everyone looked at her waiting.
"i know one," they all asked who. "ria unnie." she said, "nct ria??" ilhoon asked, somi nodded.
"she's actually having a very hard time to gain weight that's why she's never done dieting." somi explained, "can we talk to her?" yuri asked, "i was talking to her earlier so maybe we can." somi then asked politely for her phone.
after a few ring, "hello saeng?" (saeng=dongsaeng) "annyeonghaseyo ria-ssi!" young-ja said, "oh? nugusaeyo?" ('who are you' in a polite way)
the other cast all laugh including somi and the staff, "unnie! they want to ask about your weight." somi said, "ah, i see~ what do you want to know?" ria asked.
"annyeong ria, i'm yuri. what is your weight ria-ssi?" yuri asked, "actually sunbae, i gained weight from 43 i'm now 44."
everyone in the studio is shocked including the staffs, "wow! what's your height?" young-ja asked, "i'm 159cm." she giggles.
"what's your waistline?" yuri asked, "my waistline always decrease. my stylist is always having a hard time when we are fitting clothes. but i'm usually around 22."
the show then showed a picture of ria while onstage, showing her curves and thin body.

they look at the pictures, shock. since they didn't really imagine ria that thin especially for her age.
"so deiting isn't really a problem to you?" young-ja asked again, "not at all because to be honest, i'm underweight. i need to gain more weight."
"oh, thank you for telling us!" yuri said, "i'm sorry to cut this short but i need to go." she said politely, "no no it's okay. byee~" ilhoon said, "byee everyone~ !"
she was the talk in twitter for a weeks because of her incredibly small waist and light weight.
that week, she is actually named as "naeun's idol daughter."
