February 20, 2018 the biggest milestone for nctizen and nct themselves happened.

"ceo-nim? why a sudden meetting?" areum asked, ria's manager. "we're sorry we have to do this but we have to put ria ok hiatus from the group."

ria's world dropped, "u-until when?" she said barely making it out of her mouth, "we're sorry..." just that, and they left the room.

ria feel that it is so unfair, she didn't do anything and she is not sick or anything which made confuse than she already is. especially they are supposed to promote as a whole that year. and mark's leaving the dream and she may probably won't be able to perform with him as a dream the last time. so they basically put her on hiatus for nothing.

"ria?! what happened??" taeyong said as they heard the news, "i'm.... on hiatus." ria said seriously sad about it.

"but noona why?" chenle asked, "i don't know too." now she felt like crying. "i just came back, then jungwoo hyung, kun hyung and lucas hyung was just added to the group. why so sudden?" jaemin said, as he is really looking forward promotion again with the dreamies.

"i'm so sorry guys..." ria apologised, "no no no, it's not your fault." taeil said.

it was very hard for nct with ria especially the company literally gave them no reason of why ria is on hiatus. her vocals are still there on every song they and they'll release though.

as of for the fans, they are really shock since the statement sm released doesn't really said much. it was just like, "ria will be on hiatus for we don't know how long." just that.

they even trended the hashtag, '#WhySM' and '#FightingRia'

after sm's statement, ria wasn't seen with any nct member at all. and whenever the group is being ask about ria, they'll quickly dodge the question.

making the fans think that ria left the group or the group was told to avoid anything related to her which made fans question sm once more.

the dream concert started without ria and still on going 'til december 05. and for the fans they still don't have any news about ria at all, not even a shadow of hers and they are starting to worry.

December 05, 2018 came. mark's graduation and last hour of being a nct dream member.

a surprise vcr is being shown for the fans and nct dream members especially mark. most of the clips shown is including ria which makes it more special for them because they haven't seen the girl for nine months. sm literally hide ria from them.

after the vcr, all of the members are almost in the verge of crying, "cha! and for our last song, beautiful time!! music cue!!" haechan shouted. and they went to the mini stage infront of the huge stage.

but little did they know, the company called ria back and was told to perform last minute to surprise the guys.

chenle, jeno and jisung sang the first two phrases of the song when it blacked out and for a second the music stopped playing.

then it's the que for the lift in the huge that is carrying ria to go up. she was wearing the sweater merch making it a dress anyway, spotlight was put on her, the members are both happy and shocked same with the fans.

the music start to playing to where it stops, "네 어깨 나의 어깨
살짝 걸치듯 올려둔 손길" she sang definitely felt like crying, jisung was the first one to ran and hug the girl the other followed. they didn't even bother continue to sing as they are just thankful that ria cameback to them.

so the staff took it upon themselves and stopped the music for them member to seize the moment. "you cameback, we thought we'd lose you too." jeno said, not knowing that the mic catched that.

"i'm back and never will be pulled out again." she said giggling, "so shall we continue?" ria suggested, "music cue!!" jaemin shouted.

ria sticked with mark the whole song, and was also crying becuase of bot happiness and sadness. she's happy becuase she's back and sad because mark is leaving the dream.

it is now time for mark's ment, "first of all before i give my final ment, i just wanted to thank sm in behalf of this group for bringing ria back to us, not just the dream, but the whole nct. thank you so much, we may not know what really happened but still thank you for bringing her back to us."

mark then started his ended his final dream ment, "It's sad but this could be a good thing for everyone so let's think in a positive light even if we cry. Thank you so much."

the members are crying rivers but they knew they couldn't do anything about it. but the members are thinking that but many in the future he'll comeback to them, and they'll be ot8 again.
