3rd person POV:
Touma woke up in the hospital feeling better than he did before. Not wanting to stay longer, he tried to leave as soon as he could.
As he was about to leave, a nurse walked up to him.
Nurse: Before you go, I was asked to give you this.
She holds out a letter.
Touma: A letter? From who?
He grabbed it with his left hand.
Nurse: Some tall, beautiful, and busty woman.
Touma:... Kanzaki?
Nurse: She didn't say her name, she just said to give you this thank you letter.
Touma: Thanks for giving me this thank you letter.
Nurse: No problem, but...
She looks around to make sure no one was looking then she came in close and whispered.
Nurse:(whispers) Is she your girlfriend?
Touma: No, I just met her.
Nurse: Oh... That's disappointing, I thought you were a man, not a boy.
She then walks away.
Touma: Excuse me?! Don't just walk away! (Sigh)
Touma: Whatever...
He then left the hospital.
Touma: Let's see what the letter says.
As he walked home, he attempted to open the letter, but the moment his right hand touched it, it disintegrated.
Touma:..... I guess I'll never what the said.
Touma; Such misfortune...
(Play opening)
On the way home, Touma realized something, he was wearing the damaged clothes from the day he fought the magicians.
Since he didn't have any other clothes, he had to walk back in those rags. So as he walked back many people assumed he was homeless.
He ignored the looks of pity and continued home. He arrived to see his apartment complex complete fine.
Touma: They fixed it that fast?
Touma: Well that's good news.
He entered his apartment and changed clothes. He then saw his phone on the table.
On the day he saved Index, Touma forgot to take his phone with him.
He checked his phone to see 134 missed calls and messages from two girls, Misaki Shokuhou, and Misaka Mikoto.
He then got a call from Misaka. He picked up.
Touma: Kamijou residence, Touma Kamijou speaking.
Misaka:(on phone) Wherehaveyoubeenwhyhavn'typupickedupthephoneyouidiotidiotidiot!
Touma: I was in the hospital and didn't have my phone with me.
Misaka:(on phone) You were in the hospital? Tch, did you get hit by a bus again?
He then got another call.
Touma: Hold on, I'm getting another call, I'm going to put you on hold.
