You know it is not easy to live,
To constantly defy a part of yourself,
That keeps chanting that,
You have lost,
That you are unworthy,
That you will never be enough,
For them and for you,
But somehow,
I persist to open my eyes,
Even on the days,
When I just want the folds to remain closed,
And shout in languages that people do not understand,
Anymore than they understand me,
Somehow I manage to suppress the pain,
In every smile I flash,
So just because you think,
That all of us,
Should just be broken momentarily,
You are wrong,
There are things that,
Are beyond what I can possibly explain to you,
Maybe that is the exact reason,
I have never really tried,
And I refuse to.
