You are right,
I do live,
In my own world of make belief,
Because if I did not,
You would have already,
Turned into a memory,
Composed of just a bunch of dark crazy words,
After one another,
That were left as uncomprehended,
As my speech,
Misinterpreted and overused.
If I did live,
In the present and now,
All your unsuspecting words,
Would be sprawled in red,
On my arms.
So if I were you,
I would be ecstatic,
To know that,
I am a manifestation of fiction,
And just like my words,
I can only hurt,
Your feelings,
And not your bones.
-You should be grateful.
-Oyin B.
Have a great day ahead!
Love,
Oyin.

Darkness and Light
PoetryThe kind of poetry that you read and then read again, because you find too much of yourself lost in it.
