You knew better than anyone,
This is simply how I process,
How acceptance works within me,
So this one's to you,
Even though you won't read this,
Even though I know you are over me,
Because loving me means,
Getting immortalised,
Even though we aren't friends anymore,
And I don't mean anything to you,
Now,
Losing me meant as little to you as it could,
While my heart gets ripped apart,
Every time I see something,
That would have made you smile.
You have someone new now,
And you think they understand you better,
You believe it will last forever,
But tell me, girl,
Didn't we think the same thing about us?
Then why,
Why did you have to go and make us into nothing?
I know,
I am not without flaws,
But did you really have to paint me as the villain,
Because you must know,
That bad girls always have something over your head,
And how can I have anything over you now,
When what was mine,
Was always what I shared with you.
You are telling them,
You changed for me,
You lost a part of yourself,
To fit in with me,
Tell me then,
Why do you still love him?
Wasn't he always someone who was innately mine?
They say it hurts when lovers part,
What happens then,
When friends break your heart?
Because sweetie,
First you broke my trust,
And then you ripped my heart apart.
