"Mom made a graduation party bukas for me, punta kayo please?" Mika invited us while waiting for our cars. Medjo matagal kasi andami ding may kotse. Everyone is excited to celebrate this success with their family kaya nagmamadali din silang umalis.

"Yep. Kailangan nating mag kita kita bukas at maguusap tayo." I said while looking at my phone texting dad, ang tagal nila.

We went for a lot of picture taking. Simula dun sa mga naging classmates ko nung 1st year up to 4th year kaya sobrang nakakapagod. Umalis din kagad si daddy, ang init daw kasi and pagod na din siya.

The car arrived and then we bid our goodbyes.

While at the car, "You might want to have a retouch." Dad said. Inayos ko naman yung sarili ko. I look haggard from our graduation. Yakap kasi dun, beso dito, picture dun tapos minsan naiiyak bigla. Gulo gulo na tuloy yung make up ko.

After fixing myself. Nakarating kami sa bahay na may malakas na music. I don't know kung sa bahay yun or nah. Nagpapark palang kasi kami. Kaya hindi ko masyadong marinig kung sa bahay talaga yung music.

When I got out from the car. Dad told me na mag smile nalang daw ako. Pagkababa ko, sa bahay pala galing yung music. Hindi naman sobrang malakas. Grabe, so mom made a surprise party for me? Aww, that's the reason why she has been so busy for the past days.

"Kumusta hija? You've grown pretty well ah. Witty and beautiful, just like your mom." Auntie Marie greeted me. Most of them actually. Its like they have this certain script.

"Nako, thank you auntie. I'm fine po, how about you? Long time no see!" And then I hugged her. Well this is me, ang super close sa lahat. Perks of being the youngest and the only daughter of Mom and Dad.

Pagkatapos ng greeting moment, Mom welcomed the guests and then called me. She said I should have a short speech to thank the people who attended the celebration of my high school graduation.

"Goodevening everyone. Thank you for coming and celebrating my graduation with us, my family. I hope you all enjoy! Have a great night." Then smiled at them and everyone smiled back at me and nag paalam kila mom and dad. Magbibihis lang ako kasi kanina pa ako naka toga. It's really getting hot.

So, I fixed myself and changed my clothes. As usual, mom prepared what I'm going to use for this party. It's a Korean style floral dress and a red wedge that match the dress perfectly. Now, that I'm done with high school, I'm thinking mom would let me dress like this, EVERYDAY.

Lumabas na ako ng kwarto at bumaba na. Wala ako sa mood kumain, kaya kumuha nalang ako ng strawberry cake na gawa ni Auntie Rose.

Ahhhhhhh. Strawberrrrry.

After eating, mom called me and then said that I should talk to my visitors. You know, chitchat about what they are doing in life and etc. Mom looked very happy knowing na nandito yung mga kapatid niya, her parents, mga pamangkin and so is dad. Sadly, wala si Thomas. Where on earth could that guy be.

"Vicky, meet Claire and Chloe. Their are your cousins, anak sila ni Rose. Usap kayo. They've missed you so much." Mom told me and just went away because her best friend came.

"Uhm, Hi?" I greeted the two girls who's standing in front of me who's looking very shy and awkward. Its funny to see little girls. Parang dati, ganyan din ako pag nasa party ako ni mom.

"Hello." They greeted me back with shyness. Bat hindi ko sila matandaan?

"I'm so sorry pero di ko kasi kayo matandaan and ngayon ko lang nanaman kayo nakita. Are we close before?" I asked them while smiling at them awkwardly.

"Yeah. You've grown out so well, Ate Vicky." Claire said and hugged me.

"Oo nga, Ate Vicky. No wonder you have forgotten our existence." Chloe answered me pero she looked mataray. What's her problem?

They are twins pero halata mong mas mataray si Chloe.

"Sorry about my twin, Ate Vicky. Nagtatampo kasi yan. You never had the chance to talk to us nung bumalik kayo ng pinas after vacation." She explained and looking at her sister. Kinakausap sa mata ata para mag ayos siya.

"I was not." pag dedepensa naman ni Chloe tapos nag roll nanaman siya ng eyes niya. Ang brat, ah?

"It was your first time in the U.S., remember? You were 7 years old and we were both 6 that time." Claire explained more ignoring Chloe's defense.

It's finally coming back to me. Of course, naalala ko na! Kakakilala ko palang kay Mika nun ng pagbalik ko galing U.S.. Nag start na kasi ang pagiging grade 1 ko nun and I was busy knowing new things and meeting new friends. Nakalimutan ko na sila.

Ang laki na nila ngayon! Sobrang tagal na ng nakita ko sila. Sa states kasi sila nakatira and syempre mahirap din makipag communicate sakanila lalo na may 1 year gap kami. Plus I started spending time with my girlfriends.

"Omygod. I'm sorry. Ang tagal tagal na kasi nung last na pagkakita ko sainyo." Hinug ko naman si Claire. She seemed happy naman sa ginawa ko kasi hindi naman siya nawkward since ang tagal na nga naming di nagkikita.

After nun, si Chloe naman ang ihuhug ko sana kaso. "You haven't return any of our messages online, ni mag confirm ng friend request namin di mo magawa and you think a 'sorry' can just erase all the years waiting for you?" Pataray niyang sabi sakin tyaka umalis.

Nashock naman ako dun. Ang taray na niya? Bakit ba sobrang galit nalang yun? Okay naman na si Claire sakin ah?

And then she walked out.

"I'm sorry, Ate Vicky. As much as I want to convince her to talk to you, I can't. She's so stubborn and she never wanted anyone to tell her what to do." Tumango nalang ako pero curious pa din. "Sobrang bad ba talaga ng ginawa ko para ganon nalang galit niya?"

Nakakacurios lang talaga. Yes, maybe natagalan pero at least a hug? Lampas 10 years nga naman nung huli ko silang nakita kaya baka sobra talaga ang tampo niya. Well, it was my bad, also. I know that but, I just wanted to give her a hug. Pwede naman akong bumawi, diba?

"Of course, not. Nagiging drama queen lang talaga yun. But syempre, you didn't talk to us for almost 10 years. Magfefeel bad talaga kami. Pero nakita ko naman mga posts nyo sa facebook ng mga kaibigan mo, you seemed happy. And I'm happy for that. At least, you're doing fine." Ang mature niya naman mag isip.

I hugged her again and bumalik na kami sa party.

Nag kakamustahan sa mga titos and titas ko. Dalawa lang naman kapatid ni mommy and si daddy naman isa. But the rest? Lahat na yan mga friend nila mom and dad tapos may mga anak pang dala dala kaya madami talagang titos and titas.

Nag iinom lang ako ng wine ng super kaunti lang kasi magagalit si mommy. Kahit naman mag cocollege na ako, kailangan kunti lang kong uminom. Lalo na nasa bahay kami.

Andami dami pang nakikipag small talk sakin at nagkakaroon din ako ng mga bagong friends. Mostly mga anak ng katrabaho ni daddy.

Malapit ng mag midnight kaya inaya na ako ni mommy na mag message ulit sakanila.

"Thank you for everyone who celebrated my graduation with me and my family. Thank you for the kind words and advices on what should I do in college lalo na kay Kuya Erick." Tinaas ko naman ang glass ang tumingin sakanya and smiled. "To those who bothered to give me gifts for this special occassion, thank you for the thought. To all the of my titas, titos, aunties, cousins and all of my mom and dad's colleagues, thank you for coming and celebrating this success. I hope to see you all again soon when I graduated college. Don't forget the gifts ha," I laughed at my joke. "Kidding aside, I'm happy that you guys get to see how I grew up and how I am slowly making my parents proud. I'm proud to let all of you see how lucky I am to have my parents and I love them so much. Again, thank you and have a nice night." Nag palakpakan naman sila and isa isa ng nagpapaalam sakin.

"Good bye, Ate Vicky." Nag beso sakin si Claire and tiningnan lang ako ni Chloe.

Ang sama talaga ng timpla nun sakin. Ano bang kasalanan ko sakanya?
