The following cover is a result of 130 hours spent too long playing Witcher and a completely unnecessary research on Slavic deities. And it also may or may not be a cover for an upcoming competition.

I wanted to play with typography a bit, since I see so many gorgeous covers featuring nothing but text, so I gave it a go. The font in question is Cinzel, and for the effect I adjusted one of the styles (it can be found on DeviantArt, I think it's named Midas or something like that, but I'll have to check). I removed the pattern, and adjusted the colors because the amount and vibrance of that gold was blinding. Half of the sparks were painted on, half were applied via texture/overlay (?).
What are your thoughts? :)
