MINA POV:
For the first time, I longed for lunch. You're just hungry, Myoui. You don't like that girl. She's just a friend. Momo's words smacked me in the head- Stage one, denial. That girl is crazy. I'm not denying anything.
I looked at Chaeyoung, packing up her bag.
Mina: Hey, Chaeyoung?
Chaeyoung: Hm?
Mina: Do you want to hang out with Momo, Sana and me? For lunch.
Chaeyoung nodded. Thank you for not rejecting.
Sana: Mina, you usually don't ask people to join us for lunch. What's with the special invite?
Mina: Shut up. I didn't want her to be alone during lunch.
Sana: Sure, Jan.
I rolled my eyes then waited for Chaeyoung to get her bag.
Chaeyoung: I'm ready.
We headed out of the classroom and went to the cafeteria.
Momo: What are you going to eat, Chaeyoung?
She thought about it for a moment.
Mina: Don't choose jokbal, Momo will take it all of it.
Chaeyoung chuckled. Momo pouted and took half of the jokbal.
Momo: At least I know what I want to eat. Take your time to see what you want to eat, the food here is good.
Chaeyoung looked at the counter of food but still didn't know what to choose. I should help her.
Mina: Here, try this cheese kimbap, it's the best food in this school.
I placed some on her plate and took some for myself.
Chaeyoung: Thanks.
She let out a small smile and we returned to our seats. Chaeyoung sat next to me and I felt my heart pound. She's so close to me. What am I thinking? Get yourself together, Myoui. You. Don't. Like. Her. I just want to be friends, nothing else.
Momo: I finished my jokbal. Sana, can I have some of your food?
Sana: No. You ate too much.
Momo: Fine, I'll ask Mina instead.
Momo turned to me.
Mina: Sure, just don't take the whole plate.
She took some off my plate. Chaeyoung leaned closer to me. I stopped breathing. What the fuck? Breathe, Mina, breathe. Why is she so close to me?
Chaeyoung: There's something at the corner of your mouth.
She wiped it with a tissue. We looked at each other for a few seconds then I looked away. Why the frick did I look away? It'll just make Momo and Sana think I like her. I don't like her, right?
The day finally ended and I laid down on my bed. A notification popped up on my phone.
1 new message from Chaeyoung <3.
Did I put the heart there? Wait, I did put it there. Do I have a crush on her? I read the message.
Chaeyoung <3: Minariii!!! Are you online?
Minaguin: Yeahh, I am. What is it, Chaeng?
Chaeyoung <3: I wanna hang out, maybe at the cafe?
