"Oi, Kageyama, Hikari, who's he supposed to be?" Tanaka smiled contemptuously, pointing at the brunette who just arrived. "I don't think I like him very much."
Hikari giggled at his words as she pulled away from Kageyama's hold.
"That would be Aoba Johsai's captain." Daichi was the one who replied.
"H-huh?" Hinata and Tanaka were both surprised after hearing this new piece of information. However, Kageyama only stared intently at their former teammate as he quietly studied him, not stopping his girlfriend from pulling away from him.
Hikari, on the other hand, before anyone could stop her, suddenly made a beeline for the newcomer.
"O-oi, Hikari!" Daichi called after the girl as she ran away again.
"Not again." Suga sighed, shaking his head at female ace.
"Tooru-senpai!" Hikari squealed, a wide smile plastered on her face as she bolted for the unsuspecting captain, who was talking to the other Seijoh players.
"Oof!" Oikawa grunted as the white-haired girl tackled him and clung onto his back.
"Tooru-senpai, I missed you!" She giggled, tightening her arms around the brunette.
Oikawa craned his neck at the familiar voice, a smile of his own gracing his lips as a small laugh escaped his chest. "Well, if it isn't Hika-chan."
"Who else could it be, Trashykawa?!" She puffed up her cheeks as she got off the boy.
"Eh??" Oikawa pouted at the use of that nickname, before turning to Iwaizumi with fake tears now in his eyes as he whined, "Iwa-chan, she still calls me that! It's your fault! Why did you have to teach her that, huh?"
"It's not my fault she knows you're still trash, Oikawa." Iwaizumi replied flatly before he proudly gave Hikari a thumbs up.
Hikari nodded her head, humming as she agreed with the other Seijoh player.
"Huh?" Oikawa was still pouting as he turned back to the female ace. "You're still as mean as Iwa-chan, Hika-chan!"
"That's what you get for showing up late!" Hikari playfully glared at him, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ahh, about that..." Oikawa scratched the back of his head as he gave her a sheepish look.
"He recently injured his leg." Iwaizumi cut in before the captain could say anything.
"O-oi, Iwa-chan!" Oikawa shot him a pointed look.
"What?" Iwaizumi shrugged. "She would've found out anyway. What were you going to say? That you were having tea with an alien, and lost track of time?"
"Y-you're still into that stuff?" Hikari couldn't help but chortle at the little joke he cracked as she remembered the other boy's obsession with aliens.
"Y-you two are too mean!" Oikawa pouted, turning away from the two aces who were making fun of him.
As Oikawa turned away, his gaze landed on Kageyama, who was staring back at him.
"Oh, it's been a while, Tobio-chan!" He smiled one of those famous Oikawa smiles as he called out and waved at the setter. "Are you still the King?"
Hikari watched as her boyfriend only ignored him and turned to their teammates instead.
"Tooru-senpai," Hikari chirped as she playfully punched his shoulder. "Stop teasing my boyfriend, will you?"
