Chapter 1

Before you read the story I'm gonna interduce myself.

My name is Ella Patterson. I live in Virginia with my older sister and mother. My dad died a year ago in a car accident. I am 18 years old and Monica my sister is 19 years old. I'm a college student. I got many friends in college like Lauren, Skylar, Aaron, Noah and Isaac.

But Lauren and Skylar are my closest friends.

Ella's pov

I was walking home from Lauren's birthday party. I was searching for Monica's phone number and

when I looked up from my phone I was shocked. I saw a boy about 19 years old. He was cute.

" What is a pretty girl like you doing out here alone in the dark?" He asked me.

I blushed lightly.

" I'm walking home from a party."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Ethan, Ethan Petrovic."

He said and pulled out his hand for me to shake it.

" Hi I'm Ella Patterson." I said and shook his hand.

" I know " He then cleared his throat and said " Um I mean nice to meet you."

I was confused how does he know my name? He's so creepy. I just smiled. There is something about him that makes me uncomfortable. He looks like he's hiding something. He has black hair and ocean blue eyes. He's attractive.

I got a message from Monica so I excused myself and turned around to answer.

M: Where the hell are you??!?

E: Calm down I'm on my way.

When I turned back around he wasn't there. He just disappeard. Wow!

That was strange. I shrugged it off and just kept walking.
