Chapter 4

Ella's pov

Today is sunday so we don't have college. I woke up got ready and told my mom that I'm going to walk around the neighborhood. I found a small café so I sat there and ordered hot chocolate. It was cold and windy and I'm a chocolate lover. I had my diary book in front of me and I started writing about how beautiful my life is.

I didn't even finish writing but I ripped the paper out of my diary and then the wind swept it out of my hand so I ran after it, but then someone catched it. It was...Ethan?

"Hmmm let me guess is it a paper from your diary? He asked.

"Yup" I said. I felt weird I was a little embarrassed. He unfolded the paper and wanted to read it.

"No no no don't even think about it." I said. Great now he'll find out.

"Too late" He started reading it out loud.

"Dear diary,

I LOVE my life. Yesterday I talked with the perfect guy. He's so attractive and caring and nice. I think I'm actually starting to like him. WOW"

I was so embarrassed.

"Is that me?" He asked smiling.

"Maybe?"

"You know what I actually like you too."

"Oh my god" I was blushing like crazy.

"So tell me Ella how about we exchange numbers?"

"Yes I'd like that." I said happily.

"So Ethan why do we keep meeting each other by accident." I was just joking.

"Maybe because I'm stalking you?"

"Oh so you're a stalker?"

"No I'm your stalker." He said smirking. Omg his smirk!

"Ok then my stalker, how about we have dinner today at my house?"

"Sounds good and by the way you look beautiful." He said.

"Are you flirting with me Mr. Stalker?" I said laughing.

He smiled and looked at his feet. Omg he's so cute when he's blushing.

"Ok then meet you at five I'll text you the address. Bye!" I said.

"Ok. Bye!"

I was very happy. I have to tell Skylar and Lauren. I'll invite them to the dinner too.

Ethan's pov

I was just walking around the neighborhood until it was four o'clock. I went home. I had a problem I didn't know what to wear. I know it's a girl's problem but I want to look good. Today's a special day. Zach then came into my room and sat on the couch. Oh my god he's so annoying.

"Where are you going?" He said.

"It's none of your business and now get the hell out of my room." I said annoyed.

Oh come on! Are you still mad? Seriously? It's over. What happened has already been done." He said while getting out of my room.

"WAIT! I need your help with something." I shouted after him.

"Oh so now you need my help." He said smirking.

"Yea so um...what do you think, the white shirt or the blue one?"

"Um...I think the blue one suits you more."

"Ok thanks. Now get the hell out of my room." I said and threw a pillow at him. He laughed.

"Ok ok. Fine!" He said while laughing. And then he got out.

By now it was 4.45 . I got ready, said goodbye to my aunt and now I was standing in front of Ella's door. I was so nervous.

Ella's pov

I heard the bell ring, so I went as fast as I can to open it. And there was Ethan. And he was holding roses.

"You came exactly at five. Unbelievable! What are you? A mysterious creature that has super speed?" I said laughing and he laughed too but it was a fake laugh. Maybe he didn't get my joke.

"Oh um... I got you flowers."

"Oh my god. How did you know that roses are my favorite?"

"I'm your stalker remember?"

"Yea right." I said smiling.

"So...aren't you going to invite me in?" He asked awkwardly.

"Oh yea sorry come in." We went to my mom in the kitchen.

"Hey mom this is Ethan."

"Hey" Mom said and pulled out her hand for him to shake it.

"Hi" He said and shook her hand.

"Ok mom go relax. I'll do the rest."

"Are you sure honey?" Mom said.

"Yea yea it's ok. You've been working all day and this is not good for you . so go sleep."

"Thanks honey I love you."

"Love you too mom." She then went upstairs to sleep. Ethan and I were doing the rest of the food. I was making salad and he was making spaghetti. As I was cutting the tomatoes I accidentally cut my finger and there was blood. I screamed. It hurt a lot. Ethan looked at me but when he saw my finger his eyes turned deep red and evil and quickly turned around.

"I'm sorry. I just um...c-can't stand blood." He said but I didn't believe him that was so weird. I got a napkin and wiped the blood from my finger.

"Oh my gosh your eyes. What is this?" I asked confused.

"N-nothing"

"Are you sure?"

"Yea totally." He said.

"Ok. If you say so. Anyway I wiped the blood you can turn back around." I was actually disappointed and suspicious at the same time.

After we made dinner the bell rang. Finally! I opened it and it was Skylar.

"Hey!" I said.

"Hi. Don't be mad but Lauren can't make it today." She said.

"What? Why?"

"She said she's going to meet someone."

"Oh ok." I said.

After dinner we watched movies. By now it was like 10.30 pm. Ethan said goodbye and went back home, but Skylar stayed. I needed to talk to her about earlier. I told her everything from the day me and Ethan met until now. She was suspicious like me, but maybe I was just imagining. Maybe I watch too much TV. Skylar then went home. I was very tired by now so I didn't have to worry about this now. I'll just go to sleep.
