Chapter 9

Ella's pov

I saw Lauren with only her bra and panties and she was collecting the pieces of the lamp that fell on the floor.

"Oh my god! Were you with Zach?"I asked shocked.

"Y-Yea."

"What?! Are you out of your mind?"

She then stood up and I saw bite marks all over her body. Of course it's Zach. That douchebag.

"Did Zach do this?" I said and pointed at her legs where the bite marks were. I just wanted to make sure that it's Zach.

"N-No. Why would you say that?" She's acting like she doesn't know anything.

"Lauren please tell the truth."

"I just fell in the forest nothing serious."

"Ok..." I didn't believe her but she's not acting like herself. Maybe she really doesn't know anything. Maybe Zach compelled her.

"Come with me." I told Lauren and she followed me. I gave her a cream to put it on the bite marks. It actually works it's powerful it only takes a day. It was made by my mom. She always gave it to me when I got hurt. I then gave her gloves because she had bite marks on her wrist too and we don't want people to start asking things. Then we just went to bed again.

"What was that?" Ethan asked.

"I'll tell you later." I was very sleepy. Ethan compelled the director of the college that we're not going to college for a week or something because of Alanus and the creepy part where they could kill us or to be more exact me so yea....but we can go whenever we want. I woke up and Ethan wasn't next to me ok the bed so I went to the bathroom, got down and found him talking with.....wait my mom? She's alive? Thank god! I was so worried. I went and hugged her. After breakfast Ethan teached me how to fight a vampire incase something happens. Then me, Sky and Lauren went shopping but of course Ethan and Zach were with us to protect us. Um...boys and shopping together don't mix it's not a really good idea. Zach kept flirting with girls and he told them their blood is so tasty and that he wants to suck them dry and whatnot of course they gave him weird and dirty looks but he didn't really care. And Ethan. He was complaining all the time. He hates shopping. We had dinner in a small café near the mansion and we were just talking and chilling together.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Zach said and went off.

But then we heard a girl screaming we immediately got out of the café and found a girl laying dead on the floor and Zach by her side. He looked terrified.

"Z-Zach did yo-" Lauren said but Zach cut her off.

"N-No. I swear!"

"Oh really then how do you explain this?" Ethan said and pointed at the body.

"I-It wasn't me. It was another vampire I just went to help her but she was already dead." Zach said. No one believed him even Lauren. She got mad. I kinda believe him cause I got here faster than the others cause they were talking and there was someone else standing and disappeard when he saw the others. We called the ambulance and they took her away. Then we got home. I was in my room and I could hear Lauren and Zach shouting at each other.

"If you really love me Zach then please stop killing innocent people." Lauren shouted.

"Lauren I-I don't love you I'm sorry I was just u-using you for blood. I'm sorry but I'm not in love with you." Zach said. Well I could tell that Lauren was shocked and speechless.

"I-It's ok Zach. I wouldn't love me either." She said after a while and with that she took off. I got out of my room and huged her.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"It's ok. I'm not sad." She said.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I shouldn't be sad. I lost someone who never loved me, but he lost someone who really loved him...." She started sobbing. I huged her again. I know she's still sad. She then fell asleep on my bed so I slept in her room that she shared with Skylar. I told Sky everything. Then we went to sleep. In the middle of the night I heard the window crash and something landed on the floor. I didn't want to get up but Skylar already went so I figured out I'd go and see what happened.

I got up and went downstairs and i found them all standing there speechless some were looking at the floor like they're feeling guilty and others were crying...wait Monica was crying.

"What's wrong guys?" I asked but no one answered. I had to swallow the acid rising in my throat. Sprawled across the floor was my lifeless mother. I screamed. That's impossible. No she's not dead. She can't be dead. I ran to her and huged her lifeless body.

"No no mom wake up please! You're not dead! NO!!" I started screaming and crying. Monica came by my side and huged me. Then the ambulance and the police came. Ethan told them everything. We went to the hospital and there she was my mom laying innocently on the bed. I held her hand and started sobbing. The nurse then came in and said that she's not dead but something weird is happening to her.

"She's turning into a vampire." I whispered. I'm very confused now. Ethan nor Zach gave her their blood so who could it be? Unless.......OH MY GOD!!!!
