The Teenage Struggle

Chapter Eleven

"What does he want?" I asked desperately.
"I don't know." Mother said slowly.
"What do you mean? Why did he call?" I asked nervously.
"I don't freaking know!" Mother shouted hysterically.
"Chill! Both of you!" Steve added.
"Mum! What the heck did he tell you?" I shouted.

After that shout, Mother came straight in front of me leaving me without any space to breathe. She gave me a sharp slap on my cheek.

"Next time you shout at me, you'll be kicked out of the house like Connor!" Mother yelled back.
"Look Mum! I'm asking you a simple question over and over and it's like you still haven't heard it? Are you deaf?" I said expressively.

"Carly! Get out of my face NOW!" Mother yelled with complete utterance.
"Fine! Next time you want something from me, I'm not gonna even think about helping you." I said.

Few minutes passed, I was in my room and Mother was downstairs with Steve.

"That was plain rude of your sister!" Mother squinted.

"Well. Mother! You're also being a really unsupportive Mother." Steve said cleverly.

The clock struck 3 p.m in the afternoon. At that moment as I heard the clock striking, I decided it's time to go see the Principal.

"Bye Mum! Bye Stevie!" I said awkwardly.
"Bye!" Steve said.

Mother sat in one corner without making a sound. She didn't even bother to say goodbye.
When I arrived to school. Most of my classmates were still there. Even Jen. Even Chris.
Chris looked really drunk and he was punching people in the face for no reason.

"Damn! Who is that hot chick?" Chris yelled with anxiety.
"It's your two - faced ex." Jen said angrily.
"What did you just call me you bish? I thought we were friends" I yelled.
"Oh! Me? After so long you notice me? Yeah. I said you're a two-faced ex. Maybe the last word(ex) should be changed into something really nasty." Jen said with an attitude.

"Oh what are you supposed to be now? The Queen B**ch?" I added.
"Yeah! Gotta a problem?" she yelled.
"Cool it both of you. Carl! Hey! How are you?" Vanessa asked me happily.
"Hey Van! I'm pissed. How are you?" I said trying to be polite.
"You're both real big idiot. Beyond stupendous." Jen whispered.
"Hold On. I'm an idiot now?" Vanessa asked.
"Yeah. If you don't mind, I have some business to attend to." she spoke rudely. "With Chris."
"Sure! Who's the idiot now?" I added.
"Carly!" Principal said. "I'm very disappointed.
