*The very beginning of our Tale.

Gaster's eyesockets had been blank the second they began to move monsters into the underground. Now his brow was furrowed as he glared down the humans while the opaque white of the Barrier closed around them. Blocking them off from the vast world they called home, where the air was clean and the sky was huge, calling people to stare into its blue depths.

He sat there staring, no, Glaring at the humans with every fiber of hate he could muster. He didn't look away until the door like blocks of emptiness that would keep them trapped began to leave nothing but a thin sliver of the visible world.

Then he turned to the sun. Yeah sure it was blinding but deep down he feared he would never see it again. So he took a second to watch it and let it warm his bones as the Barrier closed, leaving him cold and angry.

Leaving him with rage.

The second the monsters were pushed into the cavern most did what they could to get as far away from the humans and the Barrier as possible. A few braver ones, mostly members of the Royal Guard and even Asgore himself stayed to make sure the humans didn't follow them at least.

Gaster stayed to prove he didn't back down. He stayed to see the sun one last time.

Even after it was closed he stared off into space, eyesockets blank, full of hate and disparity.

"Gaster we have to go.. the king and queen are moving us as far away from the Barrier we can go.." A hushed voice spoke to him, breaking his trance as he narrowed his eyes and looked at the floor. He stayed still and quiet, a silent refusal to move despite his sisters efforts, the only movements he made were shoving his hands in his pockets so he can be still in a more comfortable manner.

"Gaster please.." She tried again, doing what she could to look into his eyes and reassure him everything will be just fine.

Things were indeed, not fine. Nor would they be as long as he was trapped in this godforsaken prison. That's what his mind was set on.

His sister let out a frustrated sigh, the sound of her shoes hitting the ground as she walked away made Gaster relax a little.

His relaxing didn't last though as he heard even more people approach him.

He looked off to side, seeing the feet of the approaching monsters.

"I'm n-" Gaste began to speak, quickly being cut off.

"I get it, we all get it. The humans are despicable creatures with too much power for their own good. But that doesn't mean we just sit here and mope gaster." Another voice spoke, causing him to look up for a moment.

"Hari?" His voice was quiet as he looked at the other skeletons.

"You weren't moving and I didn't know who else to get.." His sister spoke quietly, grabbing gaster by his wrist and pulling him along, the two hesitantly following Harrington and the rest of the monters.

The three were silent as they began to catch up with the rest of the monsters, everyone wanting to get as far away from the Barrier as possible, fearing the humans would try to come back and finish them off.

"I didn't think I'd see you again Gaster." Hari spoke up as they walked, the metal on his armor making soft clanking noises as they talked.

"The feeling is mutual." Gaster replied with a monotone voice as he walked, not even looking over at the guardsmen.

Harrington's expression dropped a bit as he watched gaster walk on with his expression of hate, concern following right after.

"Life just got busy didn't it.. how have you been? I'm glad to see you made it through." His voice was calm but the ackwardness of the conversation was highly noticeable.

"If I knew we'd be stuck in this hell I wish I didn't make it through" Gaster grumbled, immediately being smacked on the arm by his sister.

"Gaster don't say that!"

"What? It's not like I'm wrong, this place is a prison." He refuted with a roll of his eyes.

After that the other two skeletons kept up conversation as they talking about how life has been and anything else that came up in the conversation.

Gaster had pulled out a small notepad and began taking notes on the different places the monsters had passed and resources that he took note of.

Lots of plant life by the barrier, some sun is let through for growth.
Lava and metals toward the center of the dormant volcano. Not much else for note.
•Plenty of water and it's all flowing too. Trash from the surface seems to flow to here, most of it lives up to its name but there is an occasional thing of good use. Plenty of strange and new plant life here as well.
•Lots of snow and ice that can be used if needed. Main resource is wood which is probably the best thing the humans gave us when trapping us here.

Eventually they made it to the end of the caverns where they chose to set up life. Frankly there wasn't much there other than dirt and clay with a strange purple hue and a large opening in the roof of the caverns. It was a steep fall from wherever was up there. Most monsters were led to believe it reached the surface which caused more fear in them.

Though after a quick lesson on gravity they realized that if someone did fall down there they would die and wouldn't have the ability to cause harm to anyone.

Thus began the rebuilding of their civilization.

•Asgore needs lessons on naming things better. Not only is "home" a dumb name this is not home and will never be. There isn't even anything of use here. Other than some dirt maybe, that can used for brick. I am underwhelmed to say the least.
